StupidMoniker came through again. Dirk choked in the final but he's better than Amare even before his injury.

The Suns might want to start Amare on the bench in the beggining of the year and get him 20-25 minutes a night instead of starters minutes. And then, by the end of the season Amare can play 35+ minutes because he will probably be 100% healthy. Marion is a great player but he is a better player at PF than SF, because his speed is utilized as an advantage more as PF. But it Amare comes back, along with Kurt Thomas, Tim Thomas, and an even better Boris Diaw, where does he fit? The Suns would probably be getting Rudy Gay because he can play SF but has the length to be a PF, a la Shawn Marion. So not only are they getting a defensive-minded rebounding machine in Tyson Chandler (who could be amazing for them based on how well Steven Hunter played for them), but they are also probably going to get Gay who has the chance to be another marion in their system. I think Marion is a terrific player so it isn't a shot at him, but I think Phoenix does better for themselves in this trade. They could let Amare come off the bench like I said and have a lineup of...

    C- Chandler/Thomas
    PF- Diaw/Amare
SF- Tim Thomas/Rudy Gay (draft pick)
    SG- Bell/House
    PG- Nash/Barbosa
