Not. Even. One. No talent around Young, eh? (As if discounting CJ even gives you a legitimate leg to stand on... that's like saying "besides Olajuwon, what talent did Kenny Smith have to help him?") 2006: Titans 5th in Rushing Offense 2007: Titans 5th in Rushing Offense (secondary help; Titans 5th in Total Defense) 2008 (Vince's bomb out year): Titans 7th in Rushing Offense (secondary help; Titans 7th in Total Defense) 2009: Titans 2nd in Rushing Offense Looks like your argument is all wet...
I'm glad you noticed they have a good team, but I meant player wise on offense. Year in and year out, I hear Texans fans say "Who do the Titans have? How did they get better?" "I know we can handle them, we got so and so..." (and then begins to name all of the players/"weapons") 06, T. Henry and Drew Bennett? 07, L. White and Roydell Williams? 09, all CJ all day. C'mon bro.
For a QB, whats a better friend, a stud WR, or a great running game. Ask Mark Sanchez about that one. Or Trent Dilfer. Ask John Elway or Dan Marino what makes more of a difference. Heck, the Arizona Cardinals currently have Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin, but you dont think Warner wishes he had a Marshall Faulk there instead??
What is the Colts record? (other than Manning, who helped the colts to be in the superbowl?) If Schaub had CJ, he definitely would have a better record and the texans would have played in the playoffs.
Actually, I'm still right. But its ok, keep posting pictures with funny captions that go along with it. HA ha...... ...
Yes. They can. But... eh... they usually don't say "bro" and much less in a BBS. You know what I mean, broseph? Let him answer the question, though.
Unless you are going to pull some obscure points produced vs. ranking defenses, starting record is nothing but a vague blanket stat. It's a lot easier to win when you can rely on a top 10 defense to compensate for a QB's shortcomings.
Its not like the Titans have had an explosive offense. VY makes big plays, but so does Matt Schaub. The Texans defense has been very unclutch, and their running game this year was an utter failure. VY is just far more inconsistent as a passer. If VY improves again next year, then maybe the discussion changes, but for now Schaub is the better player.
Bitter texans fans have so much hate for the cowboys. Funny thing is if you are ever up in Dallas you don't hear a word about the texans. Next year it will be just another game for the cowboys, and the texans will look at it like its a hated rivalry. Cant wait to be in Reliant wearing my Darren Woodson jersey watching the Texans fight for another mediocre season.
I'm trying to remember how many Super Bowls the Cowboys have won since the Texans came into existence. Can you help me out? Maybe thats why you have to wear a Woodson jersey.
??? Nothing I said there had anything to do with Super Bowls. Fail to address the fact that Texans fans get so worked up over the cowboys and the feeling is not even close to mutual.
Calling the Texans mediocre, and calling the fans bitter is hinting at being so much better then them, but the Cowboys really haven't been. The Texans are a good team. They've played the Titans to pretty much a draw over the last few years, even as the Titans were finishing as the number one seed. I mean at least be a fan of a team thats been to the dance recently if you want to call somebody out. Or make fun of the Raiders.
