It is abundantly clear from this video that Mario Williams is a bust.

How is it a lame thread? I found a video of our #1 pick doing something that just got a NFL star in a lot of trouble. I don't care if it was VY or freak'n Peyton Manning doing it, it's r****ded IMO and I would hope our #1 pick could spend his money a little better (but it is his money).

fact: A VY hater was the first one to bring VY into this thread about Mario Williams, obsessed much?

There is nothing illegal about throwing money and letting people keep it. People have been doing it forever. Pacman Jones got in trouble for slamming a stripper's head onto the stage, not throwing money.

    Nice try.

you tried to paint mario in a negative light here. unfairly so.

Since Mario and VY are FOREVER connected together, especially on this forum (don't even act like someone wasn't going to eventually mention VY in here), I thought I would put things in perspective as to how you and others might view this action differently were it perhaps the folk hero doing it instead of the pariah. (and apparently people agree with me)

Where did I say it was illegal? That's right...I didn't. I just said it was dumb and even put that it was my opinion. BTW, Pacman's "make it rain" stunt ended up getting a man shot and paralyzed that night, that's why cops came and questioned him.

hilarious, the rest of the anti vy crowd agree with you so you thinks that validates your post.

Dude, Pacman also slammed a stripper's head. His entourage then got into a fight with the guards and Pacman Jones himself bit a guard on the leg. The owner of the strip club said the shooter who paralyzed one guy and shot 2 others was part of Pacman Jone's entourage.

But maybe you are right. The "make it rain" stunt should be criminalized as a violent act. Only VY should be allowed to do it, he is the only one who can pull it off, because he has "it."

Pacman's slamming strippers head stunt ended up getting people hurt, not throwing the money. The scene in the video looks real dangerous...

Arent you making a little too big of a deal about it? Is it your money? People spend millions and millions on cars and boats and you're mad about this? He's just having a little fun and giving money out. I do think its not very smart, but then again, its no my money he's giving to people.

I dont see why you had to paint Mario in a negative light. Pacmans "Make it Rain" ended badly because he wanted to keep his money, and it was for "visual effect only". Thats nothing like throwing money into a crowd where you're just giving it away.

We're not Anti-VY as much as we are Pro-MW.

Its not a giant leap in logic to think that people would view this kind of thing differently if it were their hero doing it. Helps put the reaction to such a thing in perspective. Can you follow my logic there?

Tried to paint Mario in a negative light? All I did was post a video of him "making it rain." I stated my opinion and that was it. I like Mario and I think he will prove a lot of people wrong this season, but I would have done the same if it was VY, LT, or whoever. I posted "in my opinion" almost everytime I made a comment about this and there's not a whole lot more I can do. If you don't agree with my opinion that's fine, but don't try to make this a huge personal vandetta against Mario deal because its not.

VY was going to eventually be mentioned like you said, but who cares?

    I buy that.

The biggest problem I had with your post is the kind of condemnation of it that seemed to be directly related to his performance on the field.

It sounds almost like you wouldn't have minded nearly as much if Mario had led the league in sacks last year and the Texans made the playoffs or something.. get where I'm going with this? Kickin' butt on the field shouldn't really buy you a free pass off of it... but sometimes I guess it does.

Hell ya that scene looks dangerous. Go to any strip club and throw $81,000 around and see what happens.

Guys...if ya'll really think this is a way to bash Mario and praise VY, then just stop responding as you guys seem to be so annoyed about it. People start threads about their latest trip to the bathroom, I shouldn't get bashed for starting a thread about a video of our #1 pick "making it rain."
