It's time for the young fella Brooks Reed to step up. Lets see what this kids made of. If he can do half of what Super Mario has done, we will be alright. In the mean time, Crushing, MegaWatt, Ninja Smith, and Ryans have got to elevate their game to a whole new level.
It seems like Mario is much older than 26 yrs old. Brooks Reed is only two years younger at 24 yrs old.
According to Wikipedia, he was born on January 31st, 1985. Brooks Reed was born on February 28, 1987.
Why not? Its Reed who is old. As a rookie he should be closer to 22. Looks like he was old for a high school senior and then stayed in college for 5.
Here's a question, which position will Mario be put in if the Texans put the franchise tag on him? As it stands, defensive ends make 3 million more than LBs when given the franchise tag. Maybe putting Mario at LB was a financially calculated move also.
I didn't say Dallas is a perennial contender. Dallas is the most popular team in the league. If you go there, you play on a bigger stage than most players in the league ever get to play for.
Intended or unintended, Mario and his agent will ponder about the money difference when the Texans put the franchise tag on him.
You said they would probably go to a "consistent" contender, and then in the next post in the thread, you said you thought they'd end up in Dallas. So, did you contradict yourself, or did you say Dallas was a consistent contender?
This was his final game time intro for the season... kinda sad. Texans vs Raiders - Reliant Stadium - 10.09.11 - 5DII_7480B by groovehouse, on Flickr
