Nope. It's just that apparently half the message board (and the city, I presume?) are in catastrophe mode. Forget the fact that we still have eleven games to play, and could conceivably end the season at 14-2. (I didn't say it would happen, but it could if we won out ;)) We're one game away from being out of the woods on the toughest (by far) stretch of our schedule.

This is his last year of his contract. People are worried our owner won't be willing to pay him enough, so he'll bolt next offseason.

If Bob doesn't bring both of them back for next year, we've wasted a good core.

At the beginning of the season, I thought if we went .500 over the first half ....we'd be fine.(until the playoffs) One would figure that the defense would come together and with the schedule lightening up ......Big Mo would take over.
That was BEFORE losing Mario for the year though.

Why spend money on the team if it doesn't matter? Next year Uncle Bob could trot out a UFL team and the fans will still pay for season tickets and sell out the arena.

No incentive for him to improve the team, after all, consecutive mediocre seasons, no sniff of success, and being the running joke in the NFL for 10 years has done nothing to sour the fans' enthusiasm to give money to the Texans.

Yeah, they didn't make any improvements over the offseason at all. Totally sat on their hands.

And now, you see the product of their inactivity. A Week 5 loss to the Raiders to knock us down to 3-2 and tied for 1st place in the division.

    Another season down the drain.

    Gary confirms he's done.

"Mario gotta have pec repair. Hes done for the season. Casey is day to day. Pec strain. McCain should be fine. QB got sore shoulder. He is day to day. Brisiel got an ankle and knee. We'll see Wednesday."

What makes you guys think they want to stay in Houston? They haven't been part of a successful team in their careers. They'll probably both bolt to a consistent contender that will give them more money.

I have a feeling they will both end up in Dallas.

Foster has only been here just over a year. i dont think he'll be ready to give up on the team over 2 seasons.

I get the feeling this will be the last time we've seen Mario in a Texans uni.

I understand Dallas is a high profile city, but have they really been a consistent contender? I mean, in the same time span, they've won exactly one more playoff game than the Texans. (That covers the Texans whole existence)

Signing Dallas will instantly boost his name among the NFL and casual NFL fans. He would gain more start power just because of the star on his helmet.

Please see your way out of this thread, unless you can answer how "perennial contender" and "Dallas" go together.

Dallas won't have the money and why would they sink all the money into identical players, dallas needs help in the secondary more than anything.
