McNabb was still the engine to that team.

You realize the Eagles had the NFC title game like 3 times prior to that, right? They weren't a one-man team. They had a spectacular defense, and McNabb/Westbrook were great in their own right.

We have to basically beat the titans out. They lost kenny britt for the season. Not Saying he is AJ, but he was definitely a stud receiver.

Lance Z seems to believe we've seen Mario for the last time in a Texans uniform. We'll see.

I have the same sick feeling.

Reminds me of seeing Warren Moon walk off the field after the loss to the Chiefs and thinking the exact same thing.

except that Warren was an iconic player and flat out amazing at times. mario hasn't been even half as impactful.

If he ends up in Tennessee, I will hurt something.

(I know that this is way early, but I'm jaded.)

I think the injury drives down his value some. We saw his potential in this system. Bob Mcnair ensure he returns.

No way Foster and Mario walk. If that happens, I will do a naked spacewalk.

    We will...wait for it...restructure contracts.

Whatever needs to be done...these guys aren't going anywhere.

    i don't think we'll let foster walk...we'd be idiots.

but i think mario...well, it depends on what it would take to sign him. i don't think that's nearly the sure thing that re-signing foster SHOULD be.

Tate no chance Foster leaves after this year.

I would figure Foster would stay before Mario...but I have a hard time believing both will leave though.

I think Mario, assuming he wants to stay here, could be had for a reasonable price. His yearly injuries could lower the price tag as well as his production has not been great from a stat # perspective

    • McNair doesn't like Mario Williams -- that's the feeling I get.
    • Mario Williams, even with the injury, has the potential to become one of the highest paid 4-3 defensive ends in the league IMO.
    • How much do good 3-4 OLB’s make? 4-3 end is the more lucrative position unless you’re Demarcus Ware or Terrell Suggs, no?

The way I see it, the only way Mario is brought back is if we pay him top 3 defensive end money AND Wade Smith demands/begs that McNair bring him back.

Can we franchise him to the average 3-4 OLB’s salary? How does that work? Or was it eliminated in the new CBA?

What's with the Foster's last game talk? Is he out for the season too?
