Look, man, no one is even saying you're wrong (though I'm guessing there are some here that say you are). Fact is this **** is argued at least three times a week on this board. WTF is the point of another thread. You can say 'save the dumb comments' all you want, but you're going to get ragged on and rightfully so.
It's not even close right now. Mario is getting it done. Reggie and Vince need paragraph after paragrahp of explanation and excuses.
nothing against you, i'm glad we have Mario as well, but this thread is ridiculous. there's 30,000 threads on the subject already and 3/4 of them are ridiculous.
honestly mr. clutch, I remember you being pretty disappointed in the mario pick and being a HUGE proponent of bush and still arguing for bush into the beginning of this season. so don't jump on the mario bandwagan like you've been driving all along.
last year, pac man, this year albert, its always someone esle. when vince came in and they started winning, albert was on the bench because he stepped on someone's face with his cleats.
You are right. Vince has led the t*** to become the 21st ranked Offense this year. Vince being a hero, a winner, a man with intangibles that just WINS also made his team have the 6th best defense. It's all Vince, he makes them stuff the run and lock down receivers. Here's an interesting stat, Vince has only 5 more TD's than his defense. FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR!
You mean the season when they didn't have the 6th best defense in the NFL? What do they always says win Championships? TD/INT ratio?
that's fine, he was a rookie, he clearly had impact if more than one of the wins, and his ratio was fine until the last game which was terrible which no one denies so we can sit hit and rehash the same arguments from last year, I was only pointing out the fact that now everyone is crediting haynesworth when haynesworth was suspended when vince came in. that's an indisputable fact. so carry on
But you *have* to recognize Haynesworth and Tennessee's defense for their performance this year. Maybe one shouldn't totally dismiss VY's impact on that club, but you don't win games with "leadership", and his performance this year is frankly subpar.
My attempt to end the feud: I like VY. VY has had a disappointing sophomore season. I didn't expect VY to be a starter at all in his first season. He has some time to become whatever he will become. Go Texans.
Vince was a good player last year. He's not this year. I don't know why some of you have this attitude like we're dismissing his entire career. He certainly did have a very big impact on that team winning a season ago... this year, not so much.
Yeah, the Titans couldn't win without him. It's not like they hung 38 on the Texans with the backup quarterback... oh wait. Here's a concept for you: teams win games.
This will all be mute once Vince opts out and the Texans sign him when he's a free agent. You guys are so short sighted.
