    I saw one of those in the HOV lane on Sunday and though it was a huge waste. I'm glad it was a waste of Mario's money, and not the taxpayers.

    Yeah I really don't see the point. Back when the state troopers had Mustang LX 5.0 pursuit cars, all they did was patrol the highway. And those cars were super cheap, 11-12K . That is only 18K today with inflation. These cars are twice that.

    Yeah, hate those cars. The "Police" badge on the doors are barely recognizable, they love to hide on I-10 (Houston's cash cow of highways) with their little lazer guns instead of doing "real" police work, ...but if he wants to waste his money giving it to our corrupt law enforcement, whateve's.

    On the one hand, this is a really great gesture. These guys put their lives on the line and do some very undesirable work to keep the rest of us oblivious and happy.

    On the other hand, this is a terrible gesture. These guys spend countless hours of their time and our time stealing money from people who REALLY need it for "offenses" that aren't realistically offensive at all.

    As a result: Meh.

    I was at Fonde's parking lot, and I saw him coming down Memorial to get on 45 south. That was pretty cool.

    Every time I see mario I am always just blown away by how much of a physical freak he is. In person it is even more crazy.
