You have no idea what you are talking about, Memphis is a tiny market and they can not afford to go into the same kind of tanking mode like the 76ers did. They are trying to improve their team to fit their style of playing, and of course just because people seldom pay attention to defense, they won't understand why Memphis will do moves like this.
Oh ****. Oooh ****. In other words: **** hit the FAN. You have to know the full story to realize the whole pile of **** this trade will cause (if Beno doesn't land in Miami, it would be for the best). Beno Udrih is mostly hated by his countrymen (me being one of them) because he never wanted to play for national team. 7 or 8 years ago he participated in national team training camp and he was already (sort of) a star, at least by our standards. He was a starter in Sacramento and put up solid numbers. He told our NT coach he will participate only if he was given a guarantee to start and have starter minutes. Our coach didn't want any of this and he dismissed him from the team. Since then, Beno promised to play for us multiple times, but always found an excuse. Once he posted a picture from fishing with friends just few days after breaking promise to play for us. And he did it via SMS. What a douche. And now the irony is...he didn't want to play Goran's backup in NT, however he will be forced to do so now. Karma is a b****... Btw, it seems like he won't end up in Miami, but just the thought of being Dragic's backup is beyond hilarious.

This is so ironic. A few years ago Beno didn't want to play for the Slovenian national team because he didn't want to come off the bench and play second fiddle to Dragič.
