No matter how you slice n dice it. He was the 40 year old and she was the 19 year old. That alone gives the dude all the advantage. That said, you'd still have to go by the law and actually go through with a verdict. Character assassination before a trial isn't the way to go. 50-50 someone is right depending on the person. Cancel culture itself is rotten.
I did have... Sang in a touring band in the 90’s until 2002. There are members here who can confirm. Was the best and worst of times. I got to live a dream. Only things I miss are the studio and playing live. Everything else was a major pain in my ass.
Haha. I know one person in the area who used be a side thing for Manson. She’s pretty ruthless herself. She talked about how small he was. My band, I treated it like a business, because it was. I talked to women, but honestly never whored around. My drummer and keyboard player, they definitely whored around. One of my fav little stories...My guitarist was my best friend. He was a little younger. I looked out for him, he was very naive. We were on tour and he went missing after a show. I was freaking out because we couldn’t find him. Come to find out he had a bad headache and one of the guys who did security for us gave him two four bars of Xanax. He didn’t know what it was as he never took any. Well, he took them both apparently. As a band we split up to look for him and determined we would meet up at this one bar after looking. When I showed up at the bar I was really worried. My keys player was walking toward me with a huge smile on his face and I walk up asking if they found him. He then introduced me to these two (how to be politically correct here) large gay women. We walked out to the back of this bar where there was a crazy painted up VW bus. They opened up the back doors of the bus and out poured p*rn. Movies, magazines, toys. They sold all of this stuff out of the bus. He was asleep on all this p*rn. It was quite a sight and memory. These ladies found him and just threw him in the back of the bus. I’ll never forget it.
It ain't the Hangout of old, but at least we got some cool stories and recollections, bros, from @mikol13 and @ima_drummer2k ...
Thank you, Mikol. I remember I lived through the more boring version in which a kid went missing on a school trip and the whole class had to go look for him.....but it didn't end up in p*rn and the trunk of a car or bus.
Supposedly she was 23 and he was 34. He should be more experienced that her and there is certainly an age difference... but not sure that really is a big part of the problem.
Awesome. Road stories are the best. Here's one of my favorites. We played a Mardi Gras party in Lake Charles a few years ago. When we got there, the hotel we were supposed to be staying at didn't have our reservation. So we stayed at a hotel across the street instead. That was one crazy weekend!
