Hey, I am providng a story as told by a medicinal mar1juana patient...one of my good friends in Colorado has been fighting the pain of spinal tumors for many, many years....using mar1juana vs "legal" opiates. I also had a good friend in Houston who finally committed suicide because Narcotics/opiates were addictive and he couldn't sustain the pain even after he won a long legal battle to get prescribed the very hard to get Morphine Patch. Here's my friend's post he made today on FB. He's basically been saying goodbye to us. This guy is an avid musician, plays all over Colorado. As you can see, he doesn't talk about himself much. I've seen him in pain. He's told me the difference between opiates and mar1juana in helping him. Please consider these Pain Management stories as you decide to vote on Medicinal mar1juana laws or not. cheers, hp
ive heard stories of the concentrated rick simpson oil shrinking tumors to remission.. basically supersaturates and floods your system with cannabinoids and terpenoids..
^^ irrelevant so, that's your best argument against medicinal mar1juana...make ppl believe cigarettes and mar1juana are the same industry and consequences. bandwagoner...this is not your expertise...do you still insist upon making a fool of yourself in this thread?
It's not just this thread. As soon as it's on the ballot here I'm ready to vote yes. I doubt I'd ever smoke it but I've seen it in different foods and I'd be up for that.
I support med mar1juana fully, but personally i've never rec'd any reduction in pain from it -- smoking wouldn't help me if I threw my back out, but Vicodin would.
Yes, Pain Management in a short time period is one thing. Pain Management when opiates stop working for you because it is not meant for longterm pain mgmt programs, is another thing.
Yeah, i've never had an intense long-term pain for years so i'm not trying to speculate on the personal experience of someone who has -- I will say that i've heard many stories now with folks who have long-term pain finding relief from pot.
I think MMJ advocates way overblown the medical uses, but I think it's silly that cocaine and methamphetamine can both legally be prescribed, but cannabis can't. There are tons of drugs, like Lyrica, which are really effective against certain types of pain, but not others. Doctors should have discretion to try and tools that might work.
"Get high" weed is about 10% canabadiol and 90% THC. The good medical stuff is closer to 50-50. Huggybear on the corner isn't selling weed grown for high canabadiol, because CBD doesn't get you high like THC. I know one older lady who doesn't want to get high, but swears by low doses of high CBD infused chocolate for arthritic problems.
Morphine is ILLEGAL...or actually,,,nah, somewhat legal And why do we even have to say this?? Morphine is not legal, except for medicinal purposes. And opiates actually stop working...your body stops the pain killer science...but not so much mar1juana
Who? Huh? What? I was responding to KingCheetah's comment about trying all weed. At no point in what you chose to respond to did I reference either legality or morphine, nor anything related to either subject. I'm at a loss to explain how to get from what you quoted to what you wrote.
