What else to expect? A change of tone in media coverage. Admittedly, after making my lunch time news run, the tone is shifting after the drug manufacturer stated the normal treatment is 4-6 weeks and the media learns how the drug is used.

I'm used to seeing the media attacking a player's legacy and not showing the sympathy and "honest mistake" reporting prevalent in day one. The corporate sponsors and partners did the proper thing with a quickness. The media was being nicer than I'd expect. I expected shark tank and saw Care Bears.

As for the OP, Serena would get much more scrutiny if she tested positive (especially for steroids, which would make Frum's day). Not for purely racial reasons, but because Serena isn't a media sweetheart and has a fair share of social foibles in the tennis world.
