I agree to some extent. I will also add humans are unequal the way they are. Some are more equipped than others in terms of natual talent, acquired knowledge, skills, opportunities, etc. OTOH, some of those differences should be normalized, taken into different factors. I have seen first hand how some of very bright kids got stuck in unfortunate situations. The vicious cycle just keeps on for generations. If everything is left to a free society, unfairness would persist and widen , the richer gets richer and the poor gets poorer. For me, it's about finding that balance.
Life is not fair. If you want a "fair market," study the USSR. You can read about their great success.
USSR didn't have a market, FYI. I don't disagree with your basic tenet. See my very first post in the thread. But I do think you are over-simplifying and too conclusive.
this is also the reason people celebrating her death are perplexing. About as silly as confirmed atheists saying burn in hell.
I think a lot of Americans, like mlaitkep apparently, have romanticized Reagan and tie Thatcher together with him though a real look at the two shows how they set the foundation for a lot of negative things today.

Yes, but there is nowhere near our level of inequality in any other fully developed country, and considering we're one of the wealthiest nations in the world, our "inequality" looks different than their "inequality." here are the countries with a higher wealth inequality than the U.S., from the highest wealth inequality to the country just slightly-more unequal than us (Uruguay): Seychelles,Comoros, Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Haiti Angola, Honduras, Bolivia, Central African Republic, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, Zambia, Hong Kong, Belize, Suriname, Lesotho, Paraguay, Chile, Panama, Swaziland, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Sao Tome, Costa Rica, Cape Verde, Zimbabwe, Ecuador, Nigeria, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Singapore, Kenya, Congo, Gambia, Dominican Republic, China, People's Republic of, Malaysia, Mozambique, South Sudan, Jamaica, Uruguay. So, see any "great" countries on this list? Reality is nowhere near as simplistic as your outdated ideology insists on portraying it.
