Man so maybe there probably was some truth to those "rumors" last season that Harden and D12 didn't like that Dmo was getting as much local media coverage as they were.
He's a rookie coach, who the players know isn't coming back, but it's more than that. One, unless you are winning, all players must be held equally accountable. Two, unless you are winning, hero ball is going to piss off the entire locker room, which will lead to players openly questioning the coach. The Rockets gaudy win percentage helped mask a lot of contentious issues, but those issues are now surfacing, because the Rockets are just another mediocre team this season. The big question is why weren't these issues addressed last offseason? The FO totally dropped the ball on this.
We can try Thornton in lineups with Bev maybe. He just can't play with Lawson or Harden. The defense is too putrid.
Harden is the problem. He is a me first player and doesn't want a fellow SG like MT to show him up especially considering MT is the vastly better shooter this season and has stpped up in several games to sink bucket after bucket Harden likes his lapdog in Bev I see a rift such as Harden, TJ and Bev vs Dwight, DMo and MT with Ariza and Brew neutrals and Lawson still drunk. Not good for this team. I'm glad JB is working on it. That idiot McHale has left this roster with more holes and problems besides just the bad basketball habits than one could imagine thanks to him holding no one accountable and being a lackey to the stars.
Nothing against Terry, but as far as guards, Thornton has proved himself more this season. BJ's rotation changes look like preseason tests and adjustments. Did Dmo even play the second half? Was he injured? Thornton goes from starter, to bench, to not playing at all, to playing the fourth quarter. Weird.
The way it appears, only the bottom feeders of the West will deal with us. However, the same birds of a feather keep popping up in a discussion. It would take some salary, and it wouldn't be a one for one. We would have to suck up a salary, but IMO, a great player that needs some simple leadership. As for the East, it's fair game. Look out for Biggie, Hillary, Ray/Sam/Glen and the wildcard being the city that Spike Lee portrayed horribly. As far as the timetable goes, that 25 loss # is the dagger. That's all I've got. Cyber has the intel directly to the Rockets. I'm simply an ear to things going around the league. I'm grateful when I get Rockets news, namely the internal issues in the locker room. Hey____, Let ____ and _____ shoot. They love you! Love them back!
Interesting on the Chicago one... I remember reading somewhere that Noah and Gibson were on the trading block..... T_Man
Rockets 24/7 25 mins*·* Rockets guard Marcus Thornton went from not playing at all Friday against the Spurs to playing 11 minutes off the bench, most in the fourth quarter, on Saturday in New Orleans. He had nine points on 3 of 5 shooting, but said his uncertain role is “frustrating.” “It’s very difficult,” Thornton said. “I have to keep myself in the game, see what’s going on from afar from the bench. When I get in, keep doing what I’ve been doing my whole life, put the ball in the basket. I have no reason at all. That’s the frustrating part. You don’t know. You have to go with whatever is going on and be ready.” Thornton, a native of Baton Rouge who played at LSU, said he was happy his family saw him play, but that it did not make up for taking a loss. “I could have been in there earlier to help my team earlier than the fourth quarter,” he said.
