Looked at his on/off adjusted numbers, he is a train wreck defensively and mediocre offensively. He may be a guy that can play better in our system.

He signed for the minimum, so there's little risk, but i doubt he is in the rotation. He may even get waived. This sounds merely like a depth/lottery ticket signing.

Check his 3 point attempts, they've been going down over the years. If he was still jacking up 3 at near 40%, I'd be in favor of this. As is, he doesn't finish, get to the line, play defense or pass. Not a fan.

 

An absolutely-no-risk one year minimum signing of a guy that has been an above average three point shooter for most of his career and you're "not a fan" ??

 

Signing him to basically be a gunner of the bench, i.e. jason terry.

Fact that he shoots above 40% from the corners is great, Harden's gonna give him a lot of open looks from there.

Too premature to say it's a bad signing, on paper it is a solid deal.
