His brother is right. Marcus time will come. He's not had a legit shot at this thing yet like all the other guys who have got nods recently over him like Flynn and T-Will who did have ample time to shine on their previous teams. Hopefully Mook's time will come when he is in a Rockets jersey. Bout time we play the guy, not like we are winning any ways.
I think it's extra frustrating considering Parsons and his role/sucess. I mean Marcus is more gifted and talented than Chandler, and he's not only the starter but plays big minutes and finishes games.
You never been out at 2:30am when you were young? He did something really dumb but I won't judge the guy. For him to have not gotten a legit shot at playing on THIS team at this point is silly. Especially when Flynn, TWill, Smith, Adrien ..... etc have seen mins.
This. I have confidence that Morris can crack the rotation in years to come pending on a Budinger trade. However, our faith is in Parsons and will be until proven otherwise.
Play the guy!! Not only is is toture for him, it is for the fans as well. If Lowry is not playing for the next month, we arent going to make the playoffs anyway. Time to throw out the benchwarmers.
They need play him...especially with lowry out...you gotta find someone else who can do something besides just shooting or passing.
Wait 3 more days Marcus. SOMETHING is going to happen. Personally, I didnt find this tweet to be incredibly offensive. It sucks when you have a winners mentality, never lost at anything, and you cant do anything about it. This guy was heavily scouted and sought after by the front office. Guys like the 09ers were not. Morey's "guys" always get their shot at some point. Its going to happen. Morris' trade value is very low right now. I dont think he will be moved, but stranger things have happened.
Lol.... I have seen many trade scenarios in the Random trade thread rather willing to involve Marcus as a filler......than a disgruntled TWilliams .... something only Tennessee Will could have written....
haha... yeah.... no team on this planet wants to touch Terrence Williams with a ten foot pole. Marcus Morris is head and shoulders about Terrence in trade value. He is, and will be considered an intriguing prospect to alot of teams out there. The fans out there generally will label him as a "bust" but thats because they dont know what they are talking about. I would assume GM's are smarter then NBA fans. Teams know what they are getting with Terrence, the good, the bad, and the very ugly. There is a reason why Terrence got playing time the past week... because they want to move him, NOT Marcus. They have no intention of moving him.
Yeah, anyone that labels a 6'9'' former All-American 22-year-old with less than 30 career minutes of NBA burn a "bust" deserves to be beaten senseless with an axe handle.
I agree. Those scrubs haven't deserved to see the court over Morris. I know I don't know what goes on during practice but I know for sure that he's better than those guys.
something has to happen this time..... Les does not want to see empty seats next year..... again with us hovering at the 0.50 mark....
It did. They traded Battier, the starting small forward. They traded him and immediately Terrence got playing time behind Budinger. And three games in... guess what.... he was out of the rotation and b****ing on Twitter. Not sure if you noticed that last year.
