McHale didn't draft Flynn. Kahn did

We need Cxbby to talk with McHale. Maybe then McHale will unleash the beast.

Yeah PP contributed right away, cuz he had to wait half a season to get playing time! Are saying getting 0 minutes a game is better for a rookie's development than 5 mins a game?

I have no problem with sending rookies down to the dleague to get exp, provided that you first play him a few times to see what he's got. Mchale did that with Morris, Adelman just benched Patterson for no reason.

Patterson did not wait until the 2nd half of the season. He got 25 minutes, the same day, last year.

It's a good idea. He should play in an offense where he is the focal point.

Yes but with training camp, pre-season and the first months of the regular season, Patterson spend much more time getting to know the system and training with the rockets trainers. You cannot compare the situation to last years.

I thought I saw flashes of D from Martin. Dude tried to smack the ball out of player's hands and go for blocks..... Hideous to watch sometimes but he's trying

Yeah, last year we didn't have a lockout which delayed games by several months.

Move Martin? He's our best and only real scoring threat. Who's exactly gonna put an easy 20+ every night in Martin's place?

On a side note, Morris should be playing over Parson. Morris's clearly the better player, and I'm not sure why we even drafted Parson when we clearly have Budinger. We have way too many players who play the same position

Lowry and Scola are capable of dropping 20+ every night, if they are given Martin's shots.

Morris should be sent to dleague or given rotation minutes here.

However, I kinda doubt we're gonna send guys to dleague for very long this season. Too many games, too few nights.

To add, yes I think Morris should be playing OVER Parsons if Morris is the lottery pick. Thats where you need to get the return on investment. Parsons can WAIT.

BUT it doesnt matter WHO the player is:

If ANY rookie/2nd year guy is OUT of the regular rotation and needs practice time, give him d-league time.

Look you can not read anything into what Morris has done this year, he has not had any amount of time to get a read on what he can or can't do.

We have TOO MANY PLAYERS...we need a 3 for 1 deal to free up playing time.

Remember when McHale said that there are players that just turn it on in games vs practice? I think he'll realize that Chase is one of them and relegate him to the bench. Also Hill is not a 5 and anytime someone over 230lbs is in the post, he gets abused. Therefore he should be coming off the bench. I honestly would've rather seen Thabeet vs Gasol yesterday. We have soooo many young players. It's hard to be consistent with that.
