I don't think we're that far apart. I try to keep things in perspective. I am hoping Morris doesn't become Morey's first first round bust. Edit, forgot about Greene. He was tall and athletic so I didn't think about him since tall athletic guys outside of lottery never bust.
Unless we get three big stars like Miami we won't win a championship with Chandler Parsons starting at small forward
Parsons doesn't play 48 minutes. If Morris can actually play SF at a high level, The Rockets would be set at SF.
They had these guys names Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli and Tim Duncan (the greatest power forward of his generation and arguably the best to ever play that position)
Me too, I think he already adds more than Bowen...just saying that to say he could not win a championship as a starter is absurd. Battier proved so many wrong this year already. DD
Morris you better not play like pos you did last year. Bud is gone no more excuses. Let's hope we trade you.
He's more Tayshaun Prince than Bruce Bowen. Completely capable of holding down the 3 and being a multitool supporting player.
More like Mchale needs to learn how to put players in a position to succeed rather than parking a guy who is better in the post in the corner over and over. Then follow by trying to post Patterson who is better at mid range spot up shooting. If they trade him so be it, but coaching played a role.
No he wasn't. He was treated like Rudy. He gained fame for overcoming the odds of NOT being drafted and being cut by several teams before he tore up the NBA for a fantasy week or two in the NBA. He was a great story, and a player that now will have great fame for overcomming the odds. A bust is someone that has a great deal of hype but never lives up to his expectations. Lin had zero expectations and overcame the odds of an undrafted rookie/D-League player(+ racial stereotypes) of ever becoming a household NBA name.
