lol.... no... The only thing close to this I can think of is when Mchale said after the 12th pick they knew they were picking one of the Morris brothers, they just didn't know which one would be left..
Parson got to start over Morris and have more playing time than Morris is because Parson played all 4 years in college and he is a defensive specialist. Parson is indeed becoming a good player but Morris is still young and this is his rookie year. We all see his potential and can't rule him out yet until his 3rd year because usually players starts to play to their potential in their 3rd year.
Yeah but Im glad the Rockets got Marcus instead of his brother. I don't think his brother potential is as high as his.
If Parsons can hit the outside shot with consistency and morris becomes an offensive threat I would like to see them on the floor at the same time, Parsons can guard 1-3 so I see no problem with it.
trading martin would solve many problems. 1. make the decision to trade martin 2. 3. move bud to back up 2 and morris to back up 3 4. profit
If Marcus doesn't improve his game, he will be the man who takes the garbage out... In Europe or the Philippines.
I feel like discussing Morris at this point is to bleak to try. He might be the most exciting player to me, and I really feel he will be good. But trying to hold a serious conversation about him is like complaining to a death ridden terminal person that you bruised your knee.. They dont give a ****
Why can't he take his talents to other NBA teams? His game is at least not much worse than his brother's. That is NBA level.
Before we get to looking at the players we are about to aquire I really want to add that I'm strongly hoping for a shake-up at sf that allows Morris to actually play this season.. Whether it's trading Bud or possibly martin and giving Bud the backup sg minutes, I really believe that this guy can flat out score!! It would be like drafting him after his senior year and I'm confident that this guy probably has the highest ceiling of any of our current young players... So here's to hoping that Morris is in our long term plans.. btw, ill definitely be a little sad if he were traded on draft day <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DB0UZwz5J5M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6G0ITN7FE7c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
IF....we don't trade Morris, he could very easily become the leading scorer on this team next season.
I wonder what kind of player Morey invisioned Morris being when the Rockets drafted him?.....and why didn't he get more PT to see what we have as a player in Morris?
Nah, since you had and have no proof of Marcussoris' greatness, all I can conclude is that when you made your statement last year, you were gambling, and wanted to look like a prodigy who saw greatness that nobody else saw. You failed, and its not all on him. Its on you. And Tmac.
