McHale kept him in jail. Let him free with one minute to go.

He is no longer the only 1st round pick without NBA minutes.

Hahah yea right, Kawhi would have been in the D-League, same with Faired

If a rookie has no jumpshot, they are useless to the Rockets. We cant develop players

Parsons??? No jump shot early. Developed during season. Repeat, should have drafted Kawhi.

What's the point in drafting basically 2 Parsons? Leonard looks to have a brighter future than Morris at this point, but his skillset and upside is fairly similar to Parsons.

And IMO, if Leonard played on the Rockets rather than the Spurs, I'm certainly people would talk about him as a poster child for Morey's "safe, no upside" method of drafting.

Kawhi Leonard isn't going to make the Rockets relevant again. Morris represents the beginning of a shift in philosophy, as in, if we ain't gonna hit the bank with our draft picks then we sure as hell are gonna hit the bottom.

No use in drafting these "safe" high-floor low-ceiling guys anymore. Screw that. Shoot the moon. Go for broke. Because in the NBA being broke is much better than being mediocre.
