Good luck in NY and may your remaining years be injury free .. too bad your time here wasn't under better circumstances.

Probably just me. But I've always found it utterly baffling why anyone who gets paid millions of dollars to play a game...for multiple teams... deserves "appreciation".

I think guys like Yao, Landry, Camby (and soon to be Scola) deserve appreciation threads from Rockets fans where we can express what we liked about that player. They busted their chops every night on the court and when it came down to it in the end they wanted to stay in Houston.

I don't think the Kevin Martin appreciation thread will be so popular (and he doesn't deserve a lot of the criticism he gets...we tried to ship him to NO), I don't recall the T-Mac one (if he got one) and I don't think Dragic got one. It was good to see ClutchFans appreciate Lowry's work here. He was great for us.

He was such an awesome player to have. The man fought tooth and nail with a broken hand. Most players nowadays won't even play when they sneeze more than twice in one day.

Never has a player so much of an impact on my opinion in such a short space of time. Even at the beginning of the FA process, he was clear that he preferred to stay with Houston, despite all the uncertainty around the team. Always played hard, rallied the troops, didn't complain once about playing behind the inconsistent Dalembert.

I wish him well and I really think he made the right choice.

I will miss the way he shoots the ball. Very weird but he still made shots. I really wish that full court shot he made would have counted. It was a crazy shot.

I'll miss him, but at least he is going for a possible playoff team in the East and his departure paved the way for us to get much needed depth in key positions of PG and C.

If we'd have gotten Dragic and made some actual decent moves (I don't think would have had to be spectacular), I think he would have stayed but we are in rebuild mode. I wish him well and if he ever wanted to come back to play his final year here, I'd give him the opportunity.

Morey probably wouldn't but I would.
