A group of freshman New York Republicans are preparing to introduce an expulsion resolution this week against Santos amid new fraud charges accusing the Long Island Republican of fraudulently
charging his donors without their authorization and of fabricating campaign reports that listed false or stolen contributions.

The group has said they believe they are close to getting the votes they need to successfully oust Santos, who has denied any wrongdoing and refused to step down

Representative Marc Molinaro told CNN that although he understands "hesitance" to expel Santos, the situation involving the congressman is "a clear case of an individual who used
every lie and misdeed in order to attain the very office that he holds."

After they retire from politics, they'll write in their memoirs that they knew in their hearts they should have expelled Santos (and they should have denounced Trump), but that their political realities made it impossible. They'll gloss over the part where they called the colleagues they had who possessed a little courage RINOs and ostracized them for trying to do what's right.

Apparently, the most religious speaker of the house must have skipped all the passages about lying in his Bible...

They only use biblical phrases when they want to make their point and or point out other people's flaws, not any real application of scripture........if they would, they would never get behind the cult leader in charge. Just like all the charlatan "evangelists" who back him..........if my Church ever endorsed the maga cult leader, I would find a new Church

MAGATs already view this as a war for survival, so lying is the least of their "sacrifices".

Parasites like Santos are here to stay because it would be hypocritical for his party brethren to expel him for his criminality and lack of ethics.

The Early Christian Church Fathers promoted lying to the congregation as a means to an end. This **** has been going on from the very beginning.

We saw this in the final years of Trump where the Republican government used every trick in the book to justify their plunder and criminality. There was no semblance of keeping norms with the idea of future peaceful transfers of power.

Their base is so riled up and fragile they think the left is killing their kind (I guess opiods vote Dem) and are itching for payback

Good luck if Biden wins in 2024, getting any Rs in The House to accept the Electoral Count vote. The current house speaker voted against accepting the 2020 vote, so do not be surprised if he does that again.

I think if Biden wins again it’s very likely Jan 6, 2025 looks a lot like Jan. 6 2021.

And we will again get thousands of criminal seditionists off our streets and off of the voting roles. It would be a win for us.

Click the spoiler if you like. I do not mean to challenged your religious beliefs.

The vast majority of Christian writings from the second century CE (several generations after Christ's life) were not considered inspired and thus not included in the canon. Much of the NT Canon was written in the second century CE (though Biblical "scholars" disagree). The first NT canon, now declared heretical, was assembled by Marcion in 130ish CE (thus abut 100 years after the death of Jesus). Marcion has the earliest version of a Gospel and the Letters of Paul. After Marcion, either the Gospel and the Letters of Paul were expanded or they were restored to their original length. Being expanded is the more likely. Note that most Biblical scholars agree that the Gospels of Matthew and Luke were expanded versions of the Gospel of Mark.

Saying that the Cristian forgery mills of the second century CE is "lying" may be hyperbolic on my part ... but ... you have to admit that there were many writings titled Gospel of X, Acts of X and Letters of X written 100+ later than claimed and at best one can claim that they were "divinely inspired".

Church Fathers Who Endorsed Lying – Deception

Jerome quotes Origen (c. 185 – c. 253) that he allowed the use of deception, the work of Origen, the text is no longer in extant.

Perhaps if he didn't basically completely lie about everything when running for congress...
