I don't understand some people around here. It is a big chance for Marcin. Last season he showed in the NBA that he can play, can even be a starter.

But for him playing for Poland is probably like for Yao playing on CHina national team. Poland is a small marker and basketball isn't really all that popular. People have been following football for years and nobody really cares about basketball.

So when Marcin did what he did last season in the NBA, more and more people started following basketball too. He is an icon of basketball for this country and it is a great chance for him to show that he can even be a star.

Injuries happen. You can get injuried even while walking along the street. It's life. He is not really injury prone player (we don't know about that yet) so why shouldn't the Magic allow him to play? Remember that those championships will take place in Poland. It is a great chance for this countr and this yound man.

And let me tell you something, Poland has a damn pretty good chance of winning something. They probably have the best frontcourt with Gortat, Szewczyk and Lampe.
