Now that the bracket is out who will be the first 1 seed to lose and who in your final four?

I say Stanford will be the first to lose and my final four as of right now(I am sure after I look at the bracket a little more I will change it) is Pitt, U Conn, Kentucky, and UNC.

What does every one else think?

I've got the exact same Final Four.

Sleepers: ETSU, Manhattan, Dayton, W Michigan, Xavier

Also, I like Providence to take out Kentucky -- if they get by KU.

I've finally settled on Gonzaga, Wake, Duke and UConn as my final four (for now:) ) and I have UConn taking out the Zags for the Nat'l Title.

We need a consolidated thread, below is one to links to bracket games
    http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73984

My final 4 is Texas, OKS, Zaga and Stanford.

My hardest call was Texas, I am picking Cincy to pull the upset on Duke (I also think they are vulnerable to Arizona if Arizona plays well). But I think Texas has the right depth and shooters to get past both MSU and Cincy. Honestly could have gone with any of the 4.

I have Stanford over OKS in the NC.

I do think the "real championship" will be played in Phoenix as long as Okafor holds up physically. I say both defenses dominate but Stanford edge's them because of better free throw shooting int he closing minutes.

I tell you what that big Brazilian center from BYU impressed me. 7'0" about 280 and surprisingly agile for a guy his size. I know we don't really need a center, but he's still an intriguing pickup in the 2nd round.

How hard is it to fill out an accurate bracket?

Well on my ESPN Men's Tournament Challenge there were about 2,500,000 entries. And after the first round there were only 19 entries that had correctly made all the correct picks.

Sheesh! How bad must the Pac 10 have been this year.

I realize I should have gotten these in before the tourney began but this is my first venture into the College Hoops discussion boards. My bracket has Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Duke, and UConn in the final four with Oklahoma State winning it all over UConn. I had a hard time picking Kentucky to get by Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State to get by Pitssburgh in a possible Sweet 16 match up. I would have said St. Joe's would be the first #1 to go down, but Stanford has beaten them to the punch. I think St. Joe's loses to Wake Forest in the Sweet 16 though.

I'm so screwed...The only way I can salvage my bracket is if Duke and OSU play the final, which I think is a strong possibility...

    Yes of course. ;)

Nah, not really a fan; more like an 'outside follower'. I've followed them for the past 5 or 6 years, ever since my brother went and graduated from SU. I defended Warrick last year when people (Kansuck fans) doubted his abilities.

Now, since I live (not born and raised) in the 'Heart of Dixie', naturally I'm a Tide fan based on region alone. They didn't make it past the first round last year, so SU was my only other team. I was real excited when the possibility of and eventual occurance of an Alabama/SU matchup.

Yeah, my bro is pretty pissed right about now.
