Interesting fact about Tyronn Lue, not only is he a former Rockets Legend, but he is from Raytown, Missouri.

Raytown was the nominal setting of 80's sitcom/Carol Burnett spin-off "Mama's Family", primarily a Vicki Lawrence vehicle, with notable assists from Ken Berry, Betty White, and Rue Mcclanahan.

Although it was never confirmed as part of the show's canon that it was set in Raytown, Missouri, it was certainly implied to be a southern/midwestern town.

maybe. but we can't hold it against him that we don't have more data on him. we know we are in the same position they were in - win now - and he played his part well in that situation. not everyone can do it, ask David Blatt. same team, still had lebron, everyone questioned his offense, questioned his star management, questioned his in game decisions. he had a successful playoff run followed by starting the next season 30-10 and they fired him for lue who helped them over the top. he's not the main reason they won the championship. no coach ever is. but he played a not-so-small part in helping, and that deserves credit.

It's hard to argue with what he accomplished, but nobody believes he accomplished it. He's not my choice either. Think we can do better.

Welp, i predicted Russell Westbrook trade for CP a week in advance. I also correctly predicted Melo would be back in the league and productive, after you said he'd never play again. You're a troll who NEVER gets anything right

Speak for yourself. I believe he did a good job in Cleveland, and will hold Harden accountable the same way he did Lebron. Nothing is better than championship experience. So who's exactly a better option? Kenny Atkinson doesn't have the qualifications over Lue

He’s from Mexico, Missouri. According to Wikipedia he did play high school ball in Raytown though.

none of that means anything. Shut up. Go hang out with smoothie king. That’s who you’re more comparable to. I don't need to bring up how many times i've been right. it would take way too long

You already got owned in this thread by me.

I have some concerns about how Lue will do long term. His offense tends to be chaotic in the regular season and he did have some issues towards the end of his tenure in Cleveland (Isiah Thomas criticized him) but he is genuinely good at making adjustments and he keeps his team calm. Yes, he had LeBron James but he wasn't a figure head either.

You can't spell LeBron James without "RON", "L" and "E" - don't be afraid to call us the frontrunners for LeBron in 2023

@hakeemthagreat @YOLO - Guys/gals (not sure) find some more hobbies. To much negativity in the world already. No need to involve Clutchfans!

Like the cliche says "Opinions are like Aholes, some smell nice and some stanky!" I think that is how it goes! ;)
