Well i don't see players especially young players, who will be apart in any deals like the Blatches, McGees, Budingers, those seem like players who are moved just to move players to me. What i'm trying to say is if it's a young who is expiring, teams will move them, but players of the highest sequence of deals just to move players i don't see happening.

Gasol was playing bad when he was traded. Billups was playing bad when he was traded... Sometimes players fall into a bad collective dynamic and they get carried away. A change of team can be very motivating.

I've always seen more TALENT in Butler than Iguodala. More tricks, better jumpshot, better handles... He can score in more ways: post-up, 1on1, mid distance... Iguodala is a role player, I see him like a Richard Jefferson, he can score, but both aren't go-to players. Butler can be that, in my opinion.

Back-up pf is Chuck Hayes and Dalembert, but Landry is young and can log heavy mins. The 15/8 will be made up for by others players. I don't care how it's perceived by Landry. He'll be in a contract year and will play his ass off as he usually does.

His contract averages out to about $12.5 mill a year. You're not going to find many young, athletic players with his skillset so I think it's a good value. If you don't think he's clutch then I don't know what to tell you. I've seen him take and make plenty of big shots.

The problems are that Butler is about to be 30, has durability issues and is having a down year. All indicators point to this guy either already having entered a serious, permanent decline in production or about to start a deep decline (if we assume this season's numbers are a result or Arenas returning and then leaving again).

My money says Caron Butler's numbers start going down fast as opposed to returning to what they were last season.

Butler is a shadow of himself. I'd rather go for the young Iggy who is never injured..

Amare for Butler, Blatch + 2011 1st Round Pick... One of our insiders said on the radio today in PHX that WSH-PHX most likely in Amare trade.

good trade for both teams, except it makes no sense on amares part. he has said over and over he wants to goto a winner. the wizards? no nash,no arenas,no butler, jamison plays the SAME position as amare, the center mcgee i think is a role player at best, will never be in the Brook Lopez league,

they have zero bench, and even though they have huge cap space coming up,they will max out amare, and not lure wade or lebron. amare will be stuck in wizard hell the rest of his career. and on suns end i guess that means Grant goes to the bench. but , amare is the guy that destroys teams,so the suns will be worse.

if im the suns i trade amare for a big. no questions asked. either landry, aldridge, randolph, but not a 29 yr old butler never trade big for small, and never trade the "best player in the trade" because you will lose that trade 99% of the time.

Well there is a Bleacher Report article that says Kerr went on a PHX station talking about trading Amare to Washington or Philly. In the article it states he doesn't want Jamison because of his age instead going for Butler and Foye but Philly was a more interesting destination and of course would be receiving Iggy and Sammy.

Here is my wild three way trade proposal for the night and explanation...

    Rox get Butler/Amare/Stevenson
    - Get their scoring wing and superstar big along with 2010-11 version of Brian Cook but would give Washington a bit more motivation to pull the trigger. This would put us WAY over the LT but Les/Morey have said that for a star they would do it, so here would be their chance to do it.

Washington get TMAC/Budinger/2nd rd picks from both Hou and PHX
    - Washington sheds themselves of close to 15 million in salary next season giving them a shot at a big time FA while picking up a young asset in Bud along with picks.

    PHX gets Landry/Mike Miller
    - Gives themselves a nice chunk of cap space for next season along with a strong young asset to help the rebuilding process in Landry and a sharpshooting sg/sf in Miller who would fit their system perfectly along with being expiring. In addition reduces their LT bill a bit this season.

The real question for each time if this trade was propsed would be....

Hou - LT will be out of this world and giving up 2 pieces of your core for a former all-star and a current superstar?

Wash - Is the salary cap space, Budinger and two 2nd rd picks enough or is something else needed to make it happen.

PHX - Is Landry a young up and coming PF, 6 or 7 million in cap space and Miller enough to get you to part with a superstar?

    Brooks/Lowry/Conroy
    Butler/Taylor/Stevenson
    Ariza/Battier
    Scola/Hayes/Dorsey
    Amare/Andersen/Yao

Looks good but YES I know probably won't happen still fun to think and wright about. ;)

I want no part of Amar'e. He's soft on the defensive end. And this guy wants the max, and he's only a 1 way player? No thanks.

    Is Arenas available for trade?

Then we can really go to a Run and Gun offense...

No team is going to trade for him. That'd be stupid. 1. His contract is beyond ridiculous if you were going to trade for him 2. I believe the Wizards will void his contract making him a FA.

His is not soft on defense.
HE DOES NOT DEFEND AND IS NOT WILLING TO DEFEND.
His offense worth a near-max. Hid defense worthing nothing. So his true value is around half-max after taking average.

If they do this trade with Houston, then another player will likely be coming off of the Wizards books.

    Butler + Haywood = roughly $ 16 mill
    TMac = $23 mill

So I suspect that the Wiz will try to offload DeShawn Stevenson as well.

If the Wiz dump Butler, Stevenson and Haywood, then they most certainly are going to dump Jamison.

With Butler, Jamison, Stevenson, and Haywood off the books, the Wiz would have less than $30 million in committed salary for next season. And if they voided Gilbert's contract, they'd have less than $10 million in committed contracts (but they could still make Foye a qualifying offer worth approx $5 mill).

Needless to say, the Wiz could have a drastically altered lineup next season. If they cut all these players loose, I doubt they stand a good chance of attracting a big name free agent. If they do all this wheeling and dealing, the Wiz will probably go cheap for a couple of years and try to stock pile cheap, young talent.
