ESPN.com sources: Miami has agree to a trade with Minnesota that will send Michael Beasley to the Wolves. Link forthcoming

Seriously... If I lived in Minny or was a fan of the Wolves, I would seriously stop supporting them. Kahn is a dumbass and he's F'ing up that team.

Second rounder? Ha, sure! But it seems pretty clear that Toronto isn't asking for a second rounder, because that would've been agreed to instantly and without hesitation. Right? I mean, c'mon, a second rounder is no obstacle to a deal at all for Daryl Morey. He's had no trouble picking an extra second rounder up when he wishes. IMO, no freaking way is Chandler worth a first-round pick. I like what he'd add to the team, but I'm certainly not in favor of blowing a first rounder on a one-year guy who'll mostly be a backup.

Wait I thought the reason for Charlotte and Houston to be involve was so Miami could move Beasley to Charlotte, and have Houston take on Tyson Chandler...

Did Toronto accept Beasley or something?

All of these teams who are notoriously bad teams are screwing us because they are run so bad. Fortunately they are also doing it to themselves at the same time.

I can't tell you what Morey wants. But I can tell you what I want. I want a decent athletic shot blocking big to back up Yao! That's what I want. And let me tell you about those guys, they are ****-ing hard to come by!

Yeah Chandler is not perfect but he definitely has some defensive skills and when he was healthy he was one of the top defensive centers in the league. Even last year in the games he played more than 30 minutes he averaged 10+ rebounds and just under 2 block shots for those games.

He is still ready to contribute and hell we aren't asking him to start! We just need him to play solid backup minutes behind Yao and he is better than 90% of the backups out there right now.

Yeah 12 mil is a lot to pay for a backup. But like Bima Thug said if you dump Jeffries and Andersen in the deal, 2 guys destined to ride the bench all season, we actually are only paying 3 mill for him. Name one big who will contribute immediately that will give us all that. Please don't say Hill.

And we aren't talking about a long contract. 3 mil to test him for one year. What better situation can you ask for. The kid is still young. He will be playing his heart out because it's his contract year and we will have bird rights on him if he turns out to be a great fit. With Chandler we have someone that can matchup with Gasol defensively. He can keep up with Bosh as well.

This is a no brainer to me and we don't need a another pick to close the deal. If we can get this guy for just Jeffries and Andersen I will be thrilled. I would even toss in the Max amount of cash to help close it. I am sure Les would have no problem with that. He has given instructions this offseason money is no object. Get us a championship team! There may be a few better options out there, Okafur, Jefferson, Miller... but are they really available and what's the cost. We need a great backup or yao and there just aren't many good options.
