I am probably alone in this but I don't think the Cavs' roster is crap. It's ok (and that may be worse than crap, actually).

Knicks' SnT with GS helps flush out their roster nicely. Still, even if Cavs in Lotto Knicks have to stay ahead of a likely improved pair of clubs in Philly and Jersey. And Detroit? They got some talent. Some, anyway.

I expect this trade talk to pick up tomorrow or during the weekend now that LBJ is going to Miami.

J.A Adande on Sportscenter said that Colangelo isn't that interested in Beasley so this trade might not go through.

You don't worry about the other teams. You put the best team you can on the floor every night and whatever shakes out is the way it is.

But in this trade, Beasley is supposed to go to Charlotte. Not Toronto.

I think with the proposed trade, Beasley would have gone to Charlotte and Toronto would have received a $17 million TPE and maybe filler from the Rockets.

I thought Beasley was going to Charlotte and they wanted him BAD?

I'm just spewing what came out of J.A. Adande's mouth. Not sure why he said that.

yeah i was just refering to the fact that the pick is top 1 protected...i dont believe either team will be that bad. Even still, if the cavs end up slightly worse than NY they'll be stealing some odds from NY.....we may end up with a #10 instead of a 9, something like that.

i wouldnt go that far...they did get a new coach, a better one....jamison is still good for 20 and 10 and mo will may benefit from handling the ball more instead of being a spot up shooter for Lebron. If they can make a nice signing to get some scoring they can avoid being too low int he standings, but still not a playoff team obviously.

@SpearsNBAYahoo: Raps & MIA having tough sign and trade conversations, but Hou & Char still willing 4-way trade partners. Raps want picks and salay cap space

forgive me if already posted, but its about the truest thing I've seen come out of ESPN in 2 weeks:

@ESPNVerrier Best decision Mario Chalmers has ever made was choosing No. 6. He may make more from LeBron for his jersey than from the Heat.

No way Tyson Chandler is worth a draft pick. Toronto is dreaming. Just close that failed NBA outpost down already.

Colangelo needs to suck it up and take what he can get. I expect this trade to go through.
