I agree 100%, but not at the expense of giving up Jordan Hill and to a smaller extent Hayes. I have a feeling Colangelo wants one of Moreys many 1st rounders that he holds in his pocket like so many nickels and dimes (Godfather stuff) .

If the Rockets get Chandler, couldn't that improve our chances of getting Chris Paul down the rode? Presumably, those two are good friends.

Morey, if you can get us a legit 7 footer to back up Yao. I would be MORE then happy. And I'm sure all the Rockets fan would be happy as well. If that means Tyson? Go for it! Just don't give up to much..
Clutch, I think it's time for a new website involving Tyson Chandler

Side note- IF everyone is healthy, I believe we could contend with any team. Even the Heat. If they get LeBron too then we would just have to hope that Ariza/Battier combo can shut at least one of them down. But then again 2 7 footers in the paint is pretty scary!

Just cut out Toronto and make it a 3 way trade, separate from the Bosh S&T:

    Houston in:
    Chandler

    Houston out:
    Jeffries
    Andersen
    Harris
    Johnson
    Cash

    Charlotte in:
    Beasley
    Jeffries
    Andersen
    Cash (to buy out Andersen)

    Charlotte out:
    Chandler

    Miami in:
    Harris
    Johnson

    Miami out:
    Beasley

    Houston gets Chandler.
    Charlotte gets Beasley.
    Miami gets more cap space.

I prefer Chandler to Miller, but would not give up any of our young pieces to land Chandler. He is a nice piece, but not that nice.

Yeah I agree, Morey walks away from giving up Pat, Hill or Bud in this scenario.
Andersen/Alex Johnson/Harris + 2nd rounder or 3M Cash is as far as it goes.

I would rather trade shane vs jeffries and here is why. Jeffries is the only guy the rockets have to defend the dirk/odom types in the league. He's an oversized 3, but big enough to handle the 3 and the 4. They have ariza to handle the 3's, but no one to handle those perimeter hybrid guys. Scola is a paint magnet and thats to be expected. Jeffries actually did a good job on james in the playoffs while in washington. If they can get chandler, they get the type who should've been next to yao years ago. He will help now especially with yao being limited.

I thought you loved that guy.

You must not be high on that kid Jordan Hill we got last year if you're putting all your eggs into one basket in the storied matchup of Dirk Nowitzki's offense verse Jared Jeffries' defense.

    actually why?

hes a back up center, an expiring contract, and a great pick n roll player.
what is jared jeffries again? except a significantly overpaid player?

All I know is that I want BEASLEY. How sweet would it be if we get Beasley and Chandler without giving up any of our roll players..
