Framework is Bosh to Miami, Tyson Chandler to Houston, Jared Jeffries and Michael Beasley to Charlotte and a fill in player from HOU to TOR

The Rockets cannot combine the trade exception with other salary for matching purposes. It doesn't matter that it is going to a separate team. It's all based on what's coming back to Houston.

It's got to be Johnson/Harris non-guaranteed contract combined with either:

    (a) David Andersen (Rockets likely pushing for this; Raptors don't want to);
    (b) Chuck Hayes (Rockets might begrudgingly accept); or
    (c) Jordan Hill (Raptors likely pushing for this; Rockets don't want to).

The difference between (a) and (c) is that the Rockets/Heat would be willing to pay cash to Toronto to cover Andersen's salary.

    Mannix again:

Source calls deal "unlikely to happen" at this time. If it can be revived, it would give Miami more cap space and guarantee Bosh a 6th year.

Then the Raps want too much from us and Morey is playing hard ball. Fine by me.

I wonder how one of those meetings go? Are they on video conference call or what? Do they curse and make fun of each other or is it really serious?

    I guess i'll never know.

Brad Miller sounds better than plan B or C.

Chandler is more of what we need.

Length, and blocks shots and gets rebounds. EXACTLY what we need at back up C or starting C if Yao should miss a few games.

The TE comes automatically based on the lack of salary they take back

Agreed giving up Hill at this point for essentially Chandler does not seem like a Morey type of move at all....

Keep Hill.......find out how good he will be.....could it by someone like Taylor, or Harris?

Morey is a genius, he is going to make sure Knicks are not getting Lebron by helping Miami open cap space. He is going to protect his picks whatever it takes, he has said all along how true stars mainly come via draft

LeBron will stay in Cleveland. All this Lbj to Miami talk is just a ploy to create hype and curiousity to "the decision". write.that.down.

Now getting an athletic 7-footer for a 6-11 scrub who has a knack of missing layups a bad deal. Don't know about you fellas but Tyson with his length and shot blocking skills is definitely an upgrade over a 6-11 Jeffries who plays like a Small forward. Let's say we had Chandler now, would you trade him for Jared Jeffries? LOL

I'm very good with this, so long as filler player really means just that. No first rd draft pick involvement would make this a huge coup.

Toronto wants one of our young guys, either CBUD, Hill or Patterson in which case Morey will walk away.
