    Excuses, excuses, excuses

They were gonna throw Spoelstra under the bus too until Ray Allen hit that ridiculous 3 in Miami. Now its all Blatt's fault. Does he get any credit for getting them there? Or does Lebron get all the credit for that? Now that they lost its the poor coach again. I see a pattern here:rolleyes:

I find it funny that people here are saying "oh if Blatt had any self respect he should resign"....there isn't a person here who wouldn't take $4 million/year to be in Blatt's shoes. Why on earth would he walk away from $4 million/year. He's smart, he has a contract, he's not going to just up and quit, he'll let them fire him and pay him the money he's owed but no WAY on earth you resign, you all are stupid to believe you'd play it any differently.

Lebron would have black marked Stein for writing this. He would have refused to speak to media. Remember what Money May did to Rachel Nichols? Thats basically what Lebron would have done.

David Blatt is highly likely to return. Management wants him back. Players like him as a person but vets saw some deficiencies. ... They were upset he didn't go deeper into the bench. He had trouble calling plays out of timeouts. LeBron? He feels there are better coaches out there to lead them to a championship. That said, LeBron will not get involved, issue an ultimatum, hint or suggest going in a different direction. He wants the organization to pick their coach.

And Le Batard: James finding his power in Cleveland

Why is Lebron so passive aggressive?

He won't get involved in the coaching decisions, but his "people" make it clear to any writer who will listen what he wants.

Why won't LeBron get involved in picking the coach? It's his career, his legacy being impacted. He knows that the Cavs will listen to him on both coach and player choices. Does he just not care that much?

And LeBron "doesn't want to get involved" but lets Chris Broussard of ESPN know that he thinks the team can do better than Blatt? What kind of passive aggressive **** is this? If LeBron is of this opinion, then the Cavs should just fire Blatt and get a better (in LeBron's opinion, at least) coach.

Broussard mentioned JVG and Mark Jackson as coaches LeBron would endorse.

To me, if that is the case, the Cavs should just make the move and fire Blatt. JVG would be all over coaching LeBron.

Would love the Cavs to hire Mark Jackson - just to see how many different ways an organization can implode.

Cavs hiring Mark Jackson and then potentially facing Steve Kerr and the Warriors in a finals rematch would be quite something.

Lebron needs to be coached by someone with an iron fist. For all of his gifts, he has never struck me as a terribly intelligent player. He's no idiot for sure but he is still playing checkers on the court. This entire situation is a head-shaker.
