If this goes down, could we have a Mobley retirement night, play him one minute, like we did with the Chuckster his last year after his injury?

Rumor and seems to be PURE BS! No link on Real GM besides one saying "It's on twitter and so and so said it on this radio station".

That defines Blatche; a center, badly.

Cat's contract is worth a lot, a valuable tool to be used anyday from the sound of it.

Caron probably means Battier is headed out in another deal too.

We all thought Haywood was coming so it's a big drop to accept Blatche and at first glance disappointing.

But when put in context ...Scola most likely goes with his upcoming contract status.

So if we then sent out

    Scola
    Mobes contract
    Battier

We have the makings of a deal for Bosh wothout giving up Aaron or Carl.

Needless to say, I rrust Morey has it well in hand.

IF this deal were to have any legs then Hayward and Jamison remain to be dealt by Wiz.

    Portland is interested in Haywood.

LeBron has a hard on for Jamison.

the trade I heard in Arizona that is being leaked is we get Amare/Douglas, Knicks get Tmac/Barbosa and Suns get Jordan HIll/Budinger/Curry/Mobley.It actually works. I was told the Suns are enarmoured with Hill and Cbud together with cap relief and we know the Knicks love Barbosa(antoni) and Tmac. Not sure why the Rockets want Amare. Maybe to replace Scola or Hayes or maybe they are worried Yao will never recover fully and we are going after that allstar bigman since Bosh is staying in Toronto.

FWIW - from what I have 'heard' Knicks are still waiting for word from League to have Cat's contract deleted from their cap, saving $9 or so mil in lux hit?

I'm not wild about Blatche. He's talented but is also a bit of a project, whereas Haywood is ready to contribute right now at a key area of weakness.

There's no link to Marc Stein's report?...Then they switch their 'source' to Evan Roberts? Mobley can't be traded either.

I like Blatche. I'd like Haywood more, but Blatche is solid if it's what makes the deal work

I personally actually prefer Blache to Haywood. Haywood is expiring, and there's no way we resign both him and Scola. So despite being very good, I kind of feel he's somewhat redundant.

I think Butler's a good haul overall for T-Mac. He's probably better than what we can expect from the FA market given our limited space. And we don't take on extra garbage. Would like another trade to complement it though.

If we got Mobley, then could we trade him immediately? Or is there some waiting period?

Would be nice to ship out like a battier + mobley for a first rounder or another wing
