Most likely, the Rockets are talking about sending McGrady elsewhere, which would give them some contracts to add to whatever talent they are sending to Toronto to balance the cap figures. So, McGrady doesn't have to go to Toronto.

I'm with you. I don't think Bosh is physical enough. I'm just not sure he's the best answer. His only advantage over Scola is his height.

I actually wouldn't be all too surprised if we did end up dumping him.

I was actually thinking the same. If Houston is dangling Tracy to another team, it would explain why they are exploring a deal without him.

Idk if I'd want to add a guy from a team that doesn't play D and can't win and more importantly can walk away for nothing this time next year.

And no..........I think McGrady won't play for Houston anymore.

So you are talking a 3 team trade with Tmac going somewhere, and that team sending talent to Toronto and we get Bosh back? I am sure we have to send some talent as well.

Not sure if this matters but Toronto has a huge T.E. from the Hedo thing.

This would be exactly like the Barkley trade except that we can be confident in DM's ability to reload the roster depth that would be lost. :)

Awesome idea, and I hope it happens!

Most likely, yes, the Rockets will have to send talent.

I am thinking more about something to the tune of, say, Rockets sending McGrady to NY for Hughes, Jeffries, Chanlder. Then the Rockets sending Hughes, Chandler + AB or Landry to Toronto.

Yes, this would likely make the Rockets pay a lot of tax, but Bosh is a "special player."

Very true about Hakeem, but he was the end of his career.

It'd just suck to see Shane wither away in Toronto

Remember, the article said they would be willing to do it without including T-Mac so that still leaves T-Mac's expiring contract to try to obtain a guard/swingman.

    Kings?

Garcia and Martin could be returning in a few weeks. That's going to create a situation where there's too much talent available at the 2 and 3. Eventually players are going to grumble...

    evans, martin, garcia
    nocioni, greene, casspi

No it wouldn't.......Scola and Lowry is acceptable, but not Brooks.

You don't give up a PG that everyone in the NBA is calling a budding STAR player in Brooks, for a guy that might bolt this offseason.

    That would be incredibly stupid.

Exactly, that's why this is key.

Is there any way we could have a 3 team trade between Houston, New York, and Toronto.

Everyone is trying to unload or in Toronto's case getting talent for someone potentially leaving. I'm sure they'd gladly take Nate or D Lee off their hands.

    Anybody got any trade suggestions?
