Marc Stein: Christopher Paul is already recruiting Lebron

CP will talk to Harden.

Harden will listen to him.

Once CP enrages Harden regarding Warriors, Harden will be asking for Lebron and more.

We as fans are pissed off but I am telling you right now that no one is more pissed off right now than CP, JH, Tucker, Gordon, Ariza, and Morey.

They want blood.

 

Lebron already said like three weeks ago that he wants to play more off ball going forward...which means he wants to rest his body more...which means he needs to play with someone who knows how to handle the ball...which means someone like Harden and Paul

And as for Harden i don't know what he thinks, but he'll win the MVP this season, winning the championship should be his only goal at this point so...and like you said James (and Chris) are smart players, willing passers, same as Lebron, they would definitely work, just like James and Chris. They're not Melo and Westbrook.

The only problem with that is you gotta leave out Tucker Gordon and Ariza and thats what we would have to give up for him which makes this so much worse, I love this team I dont want anyone to leave.

Exactly. Chris knows if he gets super max then the chances of us getting Lebron through a trade decreases with the cap so he might be willing to take a few millions less but he would have a heavy end contract where his salary goes up in the last few years.

I haven’t been a huge fan of this but now there is little we can do from here and standing pat wont do it to beat GS.

Lebron has been shooting the three at 35%+ and I’d love to see him post up when we need it....Paul will facilitate, less work for Lebron...even with our age we have a 2-3 year window if he comes over. I think he would love the city and the feeling would be mutual.

Maybe Morey has the ability to somehow keep Tucker and EG/Ariza (take your pick) and shed Anderson.....

The article seems to make it sound like Stein is just assuming the recruiting pitch has already started, not like he has a source telling him paul and LeBron spoke last night or anything

The league will prevent that by letting LeBron win the championship this year. I'm 100% sure LeBron will get all the driving touchy calls, the ones they ignored for Harden. I'm calling it right now. Cavs in 7.

 

Lebron would fit better at this stage of his career here. You can see how tired he is of having to do the heavy lifting. With him on this team he can let harden do all the heavy lifting the way CP3 does and just dominate when he needs to. He’s the one guy who’s proven to be able to turn it on and coast/rest when he doesn’t have to go at it as hard.

33-36 he’ll have a better window/chance of rings here with prime Harden carrying the load during the regular season. The fit just makes too much sense....it’s part of the reason why the media is already prepping for it. It makes too much sense even from the main stream media’s perspective.
