Marc Stein: Christopher Paul is already recruiting Lebron

It's going to be tough to make this team better with freaking Anderson's contract. I guess he could trade it to some team with cap room for a trade exception. I don't see it happening. We really need another guy that can create and play defense. Tyreke Evans, as much as I don't like him, sounds like he could fit in his improved 3 point shooting was not an anomaly last season, which it could be.

 

We really don't need to be better we need to stay at the same level - if CP3 doesn't get hurt we win the championship.

 

yes the rockets need to be better somehow. when others will improve including GS, the rox can't really stand pat which I don't expect them to

 

I think he is being smart. He doesn't want there to be any chance of "basketball reasons" from happening.

 

Harden isn’t going to come out and say “yeah man Chris has been talking to Lebron all week and we’re right in there.” It’s just not Harden’s nature and why would he. If Chris wants people to know about his conversations with Lebron then he’ll talk about it. This quote means nothing either way.

 

Maybe this is a dumb question but...

Couldn't Lebron opt in, Capela gets offered the max, we match it, we then trade Capela and other pieces, and maybe even get a third team involved, for Lebron?
