If only one of his best friends thought through exactly these considerations a year ago.

Maybe the kids should consult their godfather?

If Lebron truly cares about his family, he would move himself and his kid right next to the godfather.

Can someone tell me how CF's going to handle LeBron only fans when if he comes to the Rockets? Can older members get Pre LeBron badges and perks? thank you.

    DIfferent kind of LOFs.

I would imagine Lebron Only fans have a much better knowledge of NBA and the game than Lin fans.

Most of Lin fans never watched NBA before they became a fan of Lin because his race.

Yeah, I can see Lebron fas being annoying but no where near as annoying and idiotic like Lin fans are.

Yall remember when CP was interviewed during the playoffs (iirc)? He was asked about his chase for a ring and replied with something along the lines with, "We got a good chance this year but if not, I guarantee Ill have one before I retire". Could this mean maybe he and Bron already set up a preliminary team up in Houston. Yeee!

LeBron, Melo, and CP already had a contingency plan to meet up in Houston if we were able to acquire Melo from the Thunder.

    ESPN reported this themselves.

Obviously we did not acquire Melo, but the seeds were planted then.

The difference between LOFs and LOFs will probably not be much.

But the difference between LeBron and Lin would be big enough to make the downside of LOFs more acceptable. Honestly if only Jeremy Lin was an actual star here no one would really be hating on his fans so much as just accepting them as being a quirky sideshow.

Rockets would not lose a single playoff game.

    Three consecutive years.

I'm not quite sure what this is about. Maybe I should feel honored, flattered, and scared all at the same time that there is another poster here that likes the Rockets and apparently, Manny Ramirez. Even weirder - new Manny only posts in the GARM and not the hangout!

    Don't fall for it Cleveland!

So, Houston? Houston would give him the best chance to make the Warriors pay attention next season. But Houston doesn't give him an opportunity to cultivate mystique. It sort of feels like this would be the Joe Montana on the Chiefs portion of his career, and on the court, the Warriors are still the favorites in that scenario. If anything, joining the Rockets looks like a sadder, more desperate version of what Durant did two summers ago. And aside from the narrative aspects of this, if LeBron goes to the Rockets, his title window lasts only as long as Chris Paul's time as an elite point guard. That gives him, what? Two more years before he has to move again? LeBron can do better.

How is it sadder if the warriors were the champs already. That’s actually the sadder version. Durant joining the warriors when they were dominating the league.
Lebron joining the rockets would be like trying to even the field and we would be the favorites even if they have the last two championships. Why? Because Lebron now add Chris and James who are you going to guard and can u even guard them ?

And no Paul George isn’t better than Chris and James Harden. We at least prove we can win against the warriors and if it weren’t for the refs we would have won. What did PG13 prove? Nothing first round exit.

Both Harden and Chris distribute the ball, gp13 not so much. So idk what that dude is drinking and I know he and everyone in the media or in LA want Lebron to join the lakers and make them relevant again. So they are doing whatever they can to pressure and persuade Lebron in any way possible.

Kevin Durant joining a 73 win warriors team isn't more desperate? Holy **** man, this guy is completely out of his mind.

And where could LeBron do better? Let me guess....IN LOS ANGELES?!
