    I fully believe that ESPN doesn't want Lebron to go to Houston, but I don't believe for a second that Houston isn't a realistic option. If anything it's one of the ONLY realistic options. For Boston to get in that conversation, they'd have to hope that Cleveland wants Kyrie back for a few years before he walks in FA.

    Would be hilarious if they offer to trade Irving to Cavs for Bron.

    Same here, but you have to consider who he was speaking to. It was a Warriors podcast so he gave them the good news that the possibility of them winning it all again next season still exists. If he tells them that Lebron is going to Houston he'd be telling them essentially to enjoy this championship while you can because the party will be over soon.

    I love how last season the narrative was all about how Chris Paul and Harden couldn't possible co-exist because they need the ball so much and they made it work like crazy, so now the narrative going into this offseason is...Paul, Harden, and Lebron can't possibly co-exist because they need the ball so much. The sports media is seriously unimaginative.

    Also, I'm pretty sure there was another ball-dominant guard who excelled at ISO basketball that LeBron was just fine playing with.......

    I listened to it. "Not realistic" is very odd phrasing. If LeBron isn't interested, just say he's not interested. Haynes does have sources, but to refer to it as "not realistic" makes me think it's based on what various supposed "salary-cap gurus" have told him, rather than reflective of LeBron's actual thought process or desire. And if there's one thing we've all learned by now, it's that the opt-in-and-trade route is apparently a mind-blowing concept that most in media seem unable to grasp (even though it was utilized less than one year ago in the most significant NBA transaction of the summer).

    So here we have 3 Warriors beat guys saying no chance.

    Good follow up to the plethora of Spurs guys last year saying the same thing about CP3

    pretty much. hou was considered a underdog team by outsiders to land cp3 when we all saw in the cp3 doc that houston was actually one of his top choices from the beginning as he was going through realistic options

    Haynes is a legit reporter that has great sources and gets regularly attacked here for giving information that people don’t like

    I wonder if this Haynes guy felt that Kevin Durant didn't really fit the style of the Warriors' splash brothers? It doesn't matter if he fits or not, something tells me that Harden and Paul would gladly give up some of their touches to accommodate LeBron. I think these 3 guys could figure it out.

    Funny how the "Where is LeBron going?" talks only start to fire up once the Rockets get eliminated. All these writers wanna be the first to the story, nobody has the scoop but LeBron himself. He's still in the middle of an NBA finals right now. Anybody acting like they got new information is blowing smoke.

    I think we're the obvious favorites and everybody is scared. Think about it... in hindsight, how obvious was it that KD was going to the Warriors? VERY obvious, yet so many of these same writers are just repeating what they said in 2016. "It won't work, there's only one ball" "I don't see how it works cap-wise" "no way he makes a move that weak"

    @zeeshan2 its at minute 49:50
    -he’s heard that lebron doesn’t want to go to Houston
    -two ball handlers too much, lebron wants to be with shooters, doesn’t like how harden needs the ball so much every possession
    -would be an incredible team
    -they don’t understand how Morey could pull it off (don’t seem to understand the opt in and trade)

    Edit:
    Warriors intrigued by what Houston will do, they want a center badly to deal with Houston, feel like Houston exposes them a little with their center (basketballholic faints)
