Right and it wasn’t as good as the real death lineup

with lebron our death lineup be better than their death lineup. [hypothetically]

ariza having his legs from not playing 40 minutes per game >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

plus we would have the refs on our side because of lebron.

He’s a free agent can’t trade him in these packages.

I’d say Ariza deserves to win with us more...great locker room guy, has given it his all for us defensively while playing huge minutes, been here for 4 years, and had to endure the 15-16 season

Why can’t we just keep everyone and get LeBron... why won’t LBJ just sign a 1-yr $25m deal????

Not sure if serious but assuming you are....

If we keep everyone we’re well above the cap and have no cap space to offer him a contract. We could only sign lebron to the MLE ($8.8m).

Because of ridIculously unlikely that is, everyone here is talking about trading for him which means having to sacrifice pieces to move rynos stupid/crazy contract. And come up with a salary package that CLE would accept.

Why do we even need to pay him? He’s already made so much money in his career.

You know if you stop to really think about it....he probably should be paying the rockets to play for the team. I mean he’d probably make bank off State Farm commercials and he wouldn’t even have to work as hard during the regular season. Not sure what limits there are in the CBA, probably caps the amount the team can accept from players.

I think Lebron should play for the team for free, and do mandatory daily community service for the city of Houston. And pay for Joe Qi's protein shakes.

Saw the response posts later before posting this. The NTMLE and then the BAE triggered the apron. The opt-in is an already agreed to contract. The sign and trade is seen as a means to manipulate the cap. That is what the purpose of the rule was meant to stop.

He does not even need to play ball no more, a waste yes, but he could just run an empire, and run a championship team like Fertitta.

Nobody should be asking him to do anything. He is his own man. One of his early goals was to be billionaire.

He could come close to that, not by playing, by making dough.

He should just come here and run a jojo stand in TC. "Jojo" is Akronite for home fries/potato wedges. Ohio is dumb...

Absolutely sucks that EG has to go. If possible I would trade Tucker and Nene instead and resign Ariza (can't believe I am saying this)

You kidding? They want LeBron in the East because other than LeBron, the whole conference has almost no star power. Kyrie can't even come close. Silver and co. want it to be LeBron versus the Warriors every year in the Finals.

In fact, with how rigged the league is, I wouldn't be surprised if Silver rejected any LeBron to Houston sign and trade. The only way to get him here would be straight up in free agency because the league wouldn't want to deal with the fallout with the players union if they refused. And that would mean dumping almost the entire roster except CP3 and Harden.
