I didn't know the Rockets hire borderline illiterate people.

Like the Nuggets needed more idiot players. This will backfire on them. heavily.

Total desperation move by the Nuggets. They will regret this severely. Harrington is already 30 years-old.

Agreed. Not only is he 30 years old, but he's also busy holding down a 2nd job outside of the NBA.

    I hate life.

I've heard a rumor that only the first three years are guaranteed, but nothing concrete. If so, the deal goes from being suicide to only losing a limb. The thought of watching Melo & Harrington try to play defense together...

    *full body shiver*

It's going to be a long season.

Is it safe to say the prognosis on K-Mart is bad?

    I haven't been paying attention.

I've heard two different things from two different people. Neither one really warms my heart, let's just leave it at that.

Seriously. How can you play in the NBA and also be CEO of your own Wacky-Waving-Inflatable-Arm-Flailing-Tubeman Emporium & Warehouse. It's no wonder his defense suffers.

Also props to the Nuggets for signing Shelden Williams, who undoubtedly is among the worst players I've ever watched in the NBA.

He's an MLE type guy. They're not overpaying, maybe 5 years is too much but MLE for Al Harrington is about right.

The years is what stuck out to me. The guy will be 36 in the last year of his contract.

It also seems that every year defense is their biggest weakness, Harrington is not helping you there. You've got yet another streak shooter on a very good offensive team. Their money would've been better spent on a good on the ball perimeter defender.

Hollinger has confirmed the last two years for Harrington are only partially guaranteed (I heard 50%). Thank God.

I still think I'm living in bizarro-land though as there are people on the Nugs board I post on talking about how Harrington is a "great low post scorer" and "we should still keep Kleiza".

    My head hurts.
