hes talking about it now on the pregame... says the best thing he can do is strengthen the other parts of his leg
It usually takes some time to get that spring back. During my playing days, if I took off a month from playing, it will take me a while to get that hop back up to where it used to be. Being able to jump high is about muscle strength and timing (jumping mechanics)
I don't think it's physically possible for an NBA player to score 26 points and grab 13 rebounds if his knee is "bone on bone." Obviously, there was a cartilage issue that the team will no doubt be monitoring closely moving forward, but this appears to be a case of Dwight not knowing what the hell he was talking about.
That alley oop Harden threw to him. The goal tending block he has every night. Nothing looked wrong, looked like the same Dwight.
Typical national media trying to smear the Rockets. Spears heard something about bones rubbing together, it made him get goosebumps, and he wrote a story
Or how bout the truth. Dwight Howard himself said "Bone 2 bone" It isn't spears problem to figure out what howard means by that.
bone on bone is a pretty generic term that doesn't necessarily mean all the cartilage is gone, it's used for basically any level of reduction.
This whole "bone on bone" seems fishy to me. Bone on bone is some serious s**t, yet this story is not being covered nationally like you think it would with a player as significant as Dwight. Something tells me Dwight was just exaggerating a bit. I hope so.
