I think he wanted to get paid, but the spurs refused. It might have had something to do w/ that elbow injury that he suffered b/c of J.Howard.

I'd rather have Spre than DA. What say you all?

If healthy DA & Tmac will be hell in the playoffs. He helps us get bigger. In the playoffs w/Tmac playing the point fwd and unless we get the right pg Tmac will be running the point fwd in the playoffs, DA could be our smallest man on the floor. As compared to wesley or barry or james. this would be a great move.

For me, attitude becomes a huge factor when considering Sprewell, so given that I'm definitely on the wagon for DA. Just say "NO" to SPRE!!!!

Living in Portland most of last year, I watched DA quite a bit and I have to say this: The guy is finished, done. He'll miss at least half of the games and he has lost most of his athleticism, which was an essential part of his game.

Go after Spree. He could help us more, especially under JVG.

That's bologna. He had a fake injury with his back so the team could play Telfair and the younger guys. There 's nothing wrong with his back. The only injury he had was his multiple root canals.
