People who smoke mar1juana are indeed susceptible to also 'trying' shrooms and possibly DMT- as they are similar yet different in the level of psychedelic. (Shrooms seems like weed x10 and dmt seems like shrooms x100)

In most cases they will stick solely with mar1juana as users understand they can remain fully productive on it and in most cases use it as a motivational boost or a momentary stress-reliever to remain productive in the long run. Math, science, philosophy, art and all students from various fields use it for creativity spikes and a clearer vision of internal thoughts.

mar1juana is not really a gateway drug to hard drugs HOWEVER people who end up trying mar1juana and have heard the countless false accusations of its effects and the propaganda against it do have this statement running through their minds 'The government has blatantly lied to me about weed, I wonder what else I have been lied to about- I'm going to try coke(or insert other real hard drug)!!'

From what I have seen, though it is RARE, weed may lead to someone trying other drugs- however it is because of the false flags surrounding weed. In most cases they try another drug only to discover it is nothing like weed- usually they have some sort of withdraw because they can feel it's addictive nature and in most cases refuse to try anything other then weed in the future. In most situations it is not a pleasant experience which makes them appreciate weed that much more.

    TRUTH

PREACH, misinformation and false advertising by the government can be attributed to any notion that weed may be a gateway drug
