This has been the Morey MO..... constantly inquire about players and moving up in the draft which can be off putting to other teams. However, it does give the Rockets data on how other teams view players and draft picks.
There is a photo of Evan with a Cavs official and Steven Adams on the BBS. I've even seen a video clip of Evan Mobley shooting the ball with Adams on twitter.
At the end of the day, Weaver is the one to make call on who to draft. He is the GM. If he is so high on Green then he will accept deal with Hou for #2 + detroits pick back + 23/24 this year. There is no need to offer more than this.
If we're high on Green as the second best player in this draft (behind Cade), I'd offer only our #2 & #23 this year + DET 2022 pick back. If DET says no, then we sit tight and draft whichever guy they pass on, and keep that #24 pick. It doesn't matter if the Pistons decide to deal the #1 pick to someone else, since we still get either Cade or Green at #2.
How exactly can you say how much Mobley will or will not bulk up? How can you even take this stance with any seriousness? Your logic is not just inconsistent but ridiculous. The way you slice the salami on every subject is inane. I'm not sensitive to criticism, I'm intolerant of stupidity.
Toronto is an amazing city in the Spring. Summer isn't bad but it still gets hotter than people think. But Fall and Winter are SO EFFING COLD and "The Lake Effect" is literally the most evil thing. I spent a month in Toronto in the winter once. It was brutal. I also lived in Chicago and Syracuse, both are also cities that experience "The Lake Effect". It is THE WORST. Would not do again.
They bentlys will got heated seats breh Heat wood floors in the new apartment, couture from the store's department, order the h'orderves, views of the water... thats straight from the page of your favorite author
Hell no. You still have to be outside at times. And that thing where you have all these ****ing layers on and then you get snowed on and then you walk inside and get blasted with the heat and the snow melts and now you're just damp for a while... oh god. Could not hate it enough.
Per Schmitz, this is best draft since 2003 and could see 4 All Stars at top of draft. All top 4 players would be #1 in most other drafts.
Toronto is like a clean version of NYC. It’s better to walk everywhere. Except winter there is brutal.
https://deanondraft.com/2021/07/12/evan-mobley-moves-and-thinks-with-surgical-precision/ The areas where he stands out in particular are with his passing and defense. He reads the defense very well, and every time he is double teamed he quickly swings it to the open shooter. And he was rim protector for the 6th best defense in the NCAA, and did so with an unprecedented ability to avoid fouls. Let’s take a look at how his passing, rim protection, and foul rates compare to past top 5 big prospects at a similar age: Age AST% A:TO BLK% PF/40 BLKF Evan Mobley 19.6 14.1 1.20 8.8 2.1 1.64 DeAndre Ayton 19.5 10.2 0.83 6.1 2.8 0.81 Jaren Jackson Jr. 18.3 9.3 0.63 14.3 5.9 0.95 Karl Anthony-Towns 19.1 11.6 0.83 11.5 5 0.77 Kristaps Porzingis 19.4 5.2 0.38 5.2 4.9 0.40 Joel Embiid 19.8 11.5 0.58 11.7 6.3 0.77 Anthony Davis 18.8 7.5 1.22 13.7 2.4 2.38 Greg Oden 18.9 5 0.33 12.7 3.8 1.21 Al Horford 19.6 15.1 1.04 6.9 4.5 0.70 Tyrus Thomas 19.4 10.4 0.71 11.9 5 1.21 Andrew Bogut 20.1 18.2 0.85 6.2 5.8 0.83 Emeka Okafor 19.3 4.4 0.57 12.7 3.5 1.57 Chris Bosh 18.8 7.9 0.53 6.7 3 0.92 Mobley is in the conversation for best passing big of the top 20 years, as he only gets edged out in assist rate by sophomores Horford and Bogut, and atones with a better assist to turnover ratio.
