Title of the thread and news story are misleading... I honestly don't understand where the bird attack report came from. The article does not explain it. Why would team officials say that he was attacked by a bird when his backpack disappeared? Very confusing.

Chris Anderson haunts the Spurs even in the summer.

The intern carrying the contract was buzzed by a low flying bird. While he was recovering from that, someone stole his backpack which had the contract in it. It's all in the article.

Ah, the class "bird-got-to-it" intern excuse!

Man feel bad for that intern. He lost his passports and everything too.

well the spurs paid for a round-trip flight to Buenos Aires for an intern, just so he/she can meet Manu, say hi, and have him sign a contract.

I'm thinking it's a pretty sweet trip, sans the stolen stuff.
