Manu manu manu...After game 7, i really think its time for you to consider retirement...game 5 was nice but you cost your team in game 6...yes you were fouled...but no ref is gonna call that especially that late in the game...Should have called time out...and gotten Parker one last chance...they were only down by 1...smh...Manu...you owe the Spurs a great game 7...but I think its over...and sadly the Spurs season as well...they looked spent after this game...
TRICK OR TREAT MANU! SMH every possession he got the ball. You know by the half of a game which Manu will show up. It's not even a contest which star player is more trick or treat- Manu or Wade. Manu wins easily because Wade at least doesn't do as much to help his team lose as Manu-iin games in which he isn't feeling it.
Green would have had 20 TOs if he handled the ball as much as Manu. And Green played 41 minutes and contributed 3 points, as a shooter.
You're insane if you truly believe Green would have had as many turnovers. The Heat play phenomenal defense when they turn it on, like they did in the 4th qtr but A LOT of Manu's turnovers in the game are typical Manu. Sometimes they are just brilliant passes albeit risky and the risk pays off, other times the risk doesn't pay off and tonight was one of those nights. I would bet DGreen wouldn't have thrown some asinine passes like Manu did. You want to compare both players tonight? Green has been consistent all series long until tonight. Manu had an aberration in Game 5 and was back to "Bad Manu" tonight. I appreciate Manu but I don't appreciate when Pop sticks w/him for too long. Especially if he's not contributing much else. Might as well have given Gary Neal more minutes.
Green can't get it past halfcourt some plays. When he has the ball and has to create for himself or others, I always feel like he is going to turn it over. Manu's plays are risky but when they work, they pay off big. Alternatively, when they don't work, it hurts the team a lot worse. I don't understand why he was kept in so long, too, and would have played Neal more, but to say Green should have taken his minutes doesn't make sense consdiering he was already kept in for way too long himself.
For all the great rotation and time-outs had called earlier in the game, Popovich became an idiot in the 4th quarter and overtime. One of them was keeping Manu in, cost them the championship and he should be flamed for it.
Could've won it with a few defensive rebounds late in the 4th. Both teams running out of legs. Old legs with more playoff rest vs younger legs with three long and tough playoff series.
#5 slipped through Duncans fingers. Will be hard to re-up on friday but, if any team atm can do it they can..
good lord this bum played like crap last night.....after every impossible turnover just when you thought he possibly couldn't do it again, it's like he dug down deep and innovated new and improved ways to pass to heat playerz
Ain't no way. Manu had a great career but too bad he went out like a chump. Spurs were fortunate to have him.
