Naseem isn't in jail anymore, he's just fat now. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kYtnwxNbFtA&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kYtnwxNbFtA&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> He and Barrera both seem low on cash, maybe he'll get himself into shape and they'll make a sideshow rematch.
Barrera's not even close to low on cash. He just can't stand DLH so he signed with King. He's already in line for a shot at Campbell too (King also).
Fudgepacker? Morales, Barrera, Marquez, and Pacquiao should thank him because the Prince made little guys marketable. Before him nobody paid attention to anybody but heavyweights now you can see featherweights go at it on PPV which was unheard before the Prince entered boxing. He was the biggest crossover star from the UK in the history of boxing. He came to the ring on a flying carpet. Barrera's win over him screwed everything up.
I'm heading to mah podnah Longwind Larry's for the fight tonight. He and I went to the Diaz/Juarez doubleheader at the Toyota Center and sat 5th row ringside. He is a huge De La Hoya fan. Personally, I'd like to see Pacquiao kick his ass...I just don't think it will happen.
If Oscar fights smart then it won't happen. But if he gets careless and turns it into a streetfight (which will be an advantage for manny) he will get beat up badly. I've hated Oscar since the 2nd fight he had against Chavez..where right after he won he made this gesture. Like he just beat the greatest Mexican boxer in his prime or something. Oscar is mediocre at best. I am waiting for the day his face looks like Chavez's did in their last fight.....and first. For anyone who never saw it or doesn't remember...here is a picture of Chavez during the fight.
Anyone know what time or approx what time the actual fight starts? I know the event starts at 9et/6pacific but there's gotta be under cards etc.
There are usually 3 undercard fights. But even if the undercard doesn't last long, they always push for the main even to start around 10 or later. A normal 12 rounder will last about 1 hour. So if undercards start at 7:30 (on tv) you would be looking at around 10:30 for the main event. If you are going somewhere just for the main event...you will be safe arriving at 10.
I am hoping this is going to be worth the price of admission, hd version sets you back 65.00 on direct tv. I am poor and yet I always seem to get sucked into buying these things. I am hoping we see a war with high drama
