I haven't read anything about Manny dropping Kahn, only Rashad. All I've read and seen on 24/7 is that Amir is more than holding his own against Pac, which isn't surprising since he's a brilliant boxer until that headgear comes off and he eats a stiff jab.

Manny fought at like 145 when he came in at 130, he's going to fill out 147 very comfortably. We'll have to see what Oscar re-hydrates to, I'm guessing around 158-162, he actually looks pretty thin and I doubt he'll do a Mayorga-ish drain before the weigh-in.

Either way, Pacman was stunned by Marquez's left hooks on a few occasions and Oscar's will feel like a sledgehammer compared to that. Oscar will probably jab and flurry a few rounds to make the fight seem competitive and then knock Manny out with a left hook in rounds 6-8.

No matter what Oscar says, it is a mismatch. Mosley came up 2 weights after being a huge and severely weight-drained lightweight, Manny only had 1 fight there and his chin won't be used to the adjustment.

Yes it is a mismatch for Oscar who is 5'10-5'11-ish who came from lightweight while Manny is 5'6 who came from 112 pounds.

I have a feeling Oscar is going to try to fight Manny instead of boxing which will make for an entertaining fight but Oscar has to much for Manny.

9th round TKO for Oscar, his right hand will come up big in this fight and the left isn't that bad either.

Friends who train at Wild Card. Clips will probably surface after the fight (they normally do), but not before (because it gives insight into Manny's game plan). Tons of guys get dropped in sparring. It's not as big a deal as it may sound. Prescott exposed him though. Khan was always chinny, but he fought reckless. Roach is training him now, and trying to make him a better defensive fighter. Andre Ward was considered chinny at the beginning of his career , but has since revived his defense.

Rashad was actually getting the better of Pacquiao for the the first few weeks. That's who was giving Manny problems. He dropped Khan 6-8 times (depending on who you listen to) during camp. Khan is far from a brilliant boxer. He's very technically flawed. He's got tremendous hand speed and a solid jab, but terrible footwork and defense.

DLH is already on weight. He won't have to cut at all before the weigh in.

Also, they aren't going to show Khan getting dropped ,lol. Roach is training him, and he's still considered a prospect.

On paper it's a huge mismatch. There's no question that "if" DLH uses his jab to set up his straight right and left hook then Manny doesn't have a chance (like i said earlier). However, Once Floyd started countering DLH over his jab , DLH completely abandoned it. Never threw it again. DLH has not fought at 147 in 7 years. Not enough people are taking that into consideration. Take a look at what cutting too much weight did to JLC, Corrales and Morales. It completely drains you. These guys weren't even close to doing what DLH is attempting.

What? He's held signifigant titles in 4 different weight classes, started fighting at 107 and was the flyweight champion (who is now fighting at 147). That's pretty amazing. He actually beat Barrera (when people thought he was invicncible), Morales once in his prime (and one could argue that the wars with Manny took the remaining years out of Erik's career) and fought two close fights against a prime Marquez. You can't be serious.

Barrera beat his career out of him, he got fat, almost killed someone in a car accident, went to prison, cried because he was scared, got out early, and now is talking about a comeback for the 1111000000000000000000000000000000000000th time (even though he weighs about 180 lbs).

Where you guys watching this at? I'm hoping that Manny pulls it off and shocks the world. But I expect Oscar to end it with a left hook around round 7.

why are people making such a big deal out of the weight difference? heavyweights fight 25+/- pounds all the time.

LOL wtf??? It's not as big an issue for heavyweights (though stamina is greatly affected if they put on too much), but for everybody else it affects so many parts of boxing. Punching power, speed, conditioning.........etc. You can also factor in the ability to bully your opponent around the ring with the extra weight which can wear down the lighter fighter. If weight wasn't an issue we wouldn't have weight classes.

Predicting a 9th rd TKO win for DLH. Too much power. Too smart. Too big.

Pacman vs DLH is like an undersized PG trying to guard a legit 2 guard. This isn't a Landry trying to guard Duncan. There will be a noticeable difference when they are in the ring together.
