I know, the title of the video says he is ready for Pac, but he doesn't really say anything in the video. Just that Pac would lose if they fought, but it's a no-win situation for him if he does win

All the foul mouth from Mayweather is really just a publicity stunt for the fanboys and audience at home to buy in the hype and fable to a much anticipated bout between Floyd "pretty boy" Mayweather and Manny "pacman" Pacquiao.. The fight will happened folks, it's just that they have to sell it first in order for you to buy something...

Mayweather's just fighting the PR fight, trying to get leverage for a 60-40 split, his way.

    Mayweather talks up Pacquiao fight

(CNN) -- Floyd Mayweather Jr. has said he is ready to make the big-money fight with newly crowned WBO welterweight world champion Manny Pacquiao happen.

After victory in Las Vegas over Puerto Rico's Miguel Cotto on Saturday, Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach said the "whole world" now wanted to see a fight with Mayweather.

Reacting to the proposition the undefeated 32-year-old, who formerly held the WBC title at welterweight, told British broadcaster Sky Sports: "If he wants to fight Floyd Mayweather all he has to do is step up to the plate."

The twice-voted Ring magazine fighter of the year added that he felt Pacquiao's approach was one-dimensional but the Filipino would be a favorite with the crowd.

"The world's going to go 'wow' if Floyd Mayweather gets beaten. That's what everyone is looking to see.

"If I beat Manny Pacquaio do you know what they are going to say? 'You are supposed to beat him, you are Floyd Mayweather, you are the bigger man'. If I knock him out they'll say 'you're supposed to knock him out he's been knocked out before'.

"I'm in a no-win situation and when I beat him no one is going to be surprised because he's been beaten before; whatever I do to Pacquaio has been done before - he's been beaten on three occasions. And if I knock him out I don't want the world shouting because he's been knocked out twice before."

If the fight goes ahead it is expected to challenge the mark set by Oscar De La Hoya's bout with Floyd Mayweather for the most profitable in history.

Money generated from pay-per-view subscriptions earned the two fighters an estimated combined total of $77 million in 2007.

Mayweather, whose nickname is "Money," said: "If I go out and make $60-75 million in one night; come on - I'm not losing."

I can't wait for Pac to fight Mayweather. I've been waiting for somebody to get up up in there and hit Floyd in his vagina for a long time now. I'm sick of him running and outpointing everyone. Admittedly, Floyd is amazing, but I think Pacquiao's got a shot at him if anybody.

    Esp since Pac has Roach.

Really? I see no faults in his arguments aside from the "world's not going to appreciate if I beat Pacquiao" comments to which I see legitimate reason for him to believe considering how the media portrayed his victory over Juan Manuel Marquez.

Am I alone if I said I like Floyd more than Pacquiao, as a person?

Then why come out of retirement? If no one is going to appreciate him beating Pac-man then who should he fight? If your giving reasons why not to fight Pacquaio, these same reasons can apply to any fighter he fights.

Exactly. He'll get that same response no matter who he fights. So why fight at all? MONEY. Which is exactly why this fight will happen eventually.

I was showing that Floyd isn't making excuses, unlike what you were saying.

He just made sound arguments about what a fight with Pacquiao'll be about:

Well, aside from the last paragraph being exaggerated, it's flawless.

Are you saying there's no reason for him to believe anything he said?
