I don't follow boxing at all, and even I heard from all sides that Pac was gonna win it?

And just who did you hear this from?

The general public believed pac was the overwhelming favorite, so if you heard it from your buddies or what not, that's probably right.

yeah I definitely fall under "general public" when it comes to boxing. And I dont know, just they way people talked about the matchup on TV made it seem like Pac was the obvious choice. The media makes Pac look like the LeBron of boxing

I agree with everything.. Pac is skilled in a way I have never seen before. But he was getting caught with hard jabs from Cotto last night.. for no reason. Most of those jabs he could have avoided. That is considering Cotto isn't even fast. Floyd on the other hand, has one of the fastest jabs I have ever seen. Aside from being fast, it is an affective jab..and he throws and lands it to the body, which is the best way to keep someone who moves alot (Manny) off balance.

Pac's straight forward and constant barrage of punches is tailor made for Floyd in my opinion. You are talking about the greatest counter puncher in the sport. It will be a counter punching fest for Floyd. Cotto is an average counter puncher..and he was countering in the first couple of rounds.

I am not saying it will be easy to beat Pac, but I am saying Floyd's skillset is greater when compared to Pacs because of the styles they have.

It is basically the best offense in the sport.. vs... the best defense in the sport.

Floyd Sr. is just talking **** to get attention. The reason he said that is because he is still on that **** about Pac being on steroids. Mayweather Sr. feels as if Pac doing the steroids is an advantage and it will affect the outcome.

I don't believe he is doing steroids though. Regardless of what anyone says, the stage is set, and this fight will happen. Floyd gave the green light and its on.

For NO reason? Manny said it himself that he was trying to see his power? Dd you really believe that he was avoiding the ropes? his trainer said before the 11th round that there's NO need to go to teh ropes because he already won the fight.

Pacquiao was making a statement there that he can take his punches.

I don't know a lot about boxing....but from watching Pac's fights this is what I was trying to get into words. What you just said about him maintaining his balance and getting a good shot off while getting hit is what amazed me.

Take it from my ameture prediction but i don't see mayweather beating him. Even though i have picked floyd every single time.

If manny were to beat him ....oh man what a joy. Floyd is the arrogant guy that escapes with marginal victories and a boring style of running around no one likes to watch. He just wants the money imo. Manny is one of the most humble guys and provides a truly exciting match.

He was still catching jabs that were snapping his head back towards the end of the fight. They weren't doing damage because Cotto was gassed... what I am saying is that an effective jab is the only way to control Pac's pace. Cotto's jab was working when he was snapping it back fast enough to not catch a right hook counter.

Floyd has the jab.. its atleast twice as fast as Cotto's just not as powerful. Pac won't see them coming. Floyd can control the pace. Pac will get his punches in no doubt...but as long as Floyd doesn't get caught and hurt, he will win the fight. I guess the real question is can Floyd's chin handle a full fledged crazy angled left cross from Manny? I honestly don't know.

Can Manny break Floyd's defense and get close enough to get enough chances to actually land something effective?.. I honestly don't know either.

That and he's, practically, a gelded horse, now. To actually congratulate Pacquiao in the post-fight interviews? I'd expect a champion to be licking his wounds not his opponent's feet.

He's crazy if he thinks he's more of a draw then Manny. Roach said it best and that it should be 50-50 or winner take all. Or it should be 40-40 with winner taking remaining 20. Even with a 50-50 split, Mayweather would still make more money then Manny because Mayweather is his own boss and Manny still has to pay Arum. Mayweather is crazy thinking he can get a 65-35 split, let alone deserve one. Not only that but Pacquiao is THE best P4P fighter right now, if anything Pacquiao deserves a 65-35 split in his favor.

haha, 65-35 is really meaning "NO thank you." hehehe.

Manny made more PPV sales than Mayweather-Marquez fight and he demands this? BS.

dude he still won that fight, and all you did was just put up a pic of him gettin hit, i can do the same with pacman, or ever mayweather.

pacman has yet to face either of the two mayweather or williams, i cant say he's the best.

WOW. I enjoyed watching this fight so much... and I didn't know Cotto enough to believe Manny would win so easily as Saturday night.

I will say, though, that I agree with a coworker who hosted a viewing party about the Mayweather PacMan fight: BORING.

Floyd will run around, just like with other fights. He stings and moves... but I believe Manny will catch him enough times with his power. I really despise FMjr, though.
