Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto: Let the hype begin

blah blah blah it's called boxing. he's a fantastic defensive boxer. and i think he wins.

 

If he was gonna stop it why make him take all the punishment? Stop it in the 9th.

if and when this fight goes down, it will be a long night for Pacquiao. He still needs some improvement to do. Money May killed JMM.

 

I think Cotto was ok to fight some more. He was definitely losing, but could have fought some more.

 

Why do people do this following fights? Mayweather-Pacquiao would be nothing like this. Floyd is on a different level. That would be a real speed matchup.

Also, I must say, thank god for sopcast. The best fights are the ones you get to see for free.

 

He could retire but he won't. He's the best fighter in the last decade and we will see if Mayweather will puss out.

I agree. If ref was going to stop it he should have stopped it earlier not in last round.

 

Pacquiao needs up his defense if he's going to fight Mayweather.

Floyd will have to run to not get pummelled just like Cotto before him. Manny doesn't fight like a traditional fighter, he thows punches from angles that Floyd has never seen before. Manny is one violent fist in motion.

I am probably caught up in the moment, but, sheesh, when else would I consider a Manny v. Mayweather fight? I think Manny has his Floyd's speed, but he hits a lot harder in my opinion.

 

I don't think anybody in history has fought the way manny fights. He runs at us, lungs, and pivitos and fights your chin.

 

So I don't follow boxing...but I have watched Pac-Man's last 3 fights...

If the Mayweather fight doesn't happen...what else do we exactly have to look forward to?

If JMM gave Pacquiao so many problems, why wouldn't Floyd who is a better boxer? Styles make fights and Mayweather's style is kryptonite to Pacquiao.

 

Pacquiao is incredible, but Mayweather has the style to be absolute kryptonite for anybody. Marquez was dead even with Pac for 2 fights and Mayweather shut him out. Triangle theories don't work in boxing, but it shows that even the greatest fighters can meet their match.

Cotto leans forward and is there to be hit. Mayweather dodges going back and has an array of precise counterpunches. Pacquiao would be in for something completely different.

 

You wanna bet Pac won't beat Mayweather?
